Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

going here for awhile now and usually the food is always good never really have any issues at all. whenever I go there I usually get breakfast which is pretty consistent which is a plus you always know what your gonna get as the quality is always the same. one thing I don't like is the butter or margarine whatever it is they put on your waffle, pancakes and French toast. the "butter" doesn't melt its weird and makes me feel uncomfortable when trying to eat it because it doesn't melt, I'm sorry but eating raw butter on hot pancakes is different from eating melted butter on hot pancakes, the texture is like chapstick it's unappetizing and weird, if they changed to butter or fixed the issue I would have rated 5 stars, but for whatever reason it doesn't melt and like chapstick. other then that I enjoy my breakfast whenever I go there.

I typically like coming here as the food is good and the prices aren't horrible. Today our waitress definitely saved gas because I am positive she rode her broom to work!!! It was as if we were interrupting and irritating her by asking a question about the food! How ridiculous right? Uou would have thought we were at a restaurant. The nerve of us!!! By the way, my burger was overcooked and tater tots cold! I wanted to send it back but was afraid of what our (waitress) haha would have done!!! Very disappointed 😞

Honestly my everything was great... It was not busy but our waitress had everything more than under control and our food was good... but As I was leaving there was a guy at the door for waiting 30 seconds to a minute in between people coming in telling them which it would be about 10 minutes to be seated there's multiple clean tables... I have been a waitress and a hostess and worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years and and the time that he took to tell everyone about wait for a solid 10 minutes he could have cleared all the tables and had the waitresses taking care of everybody .... I was very close to showing him how to do his job. Lol. Also his main purpose should be to greet ppl coming in, not to tell them about a wait, esp when ppl can clearly see theree are available tables. I understand that a waitress can only take care of so many tables but this was not the situation. The waitresses were more than capable.
