My search for great donuts in Phoenix brought me to this establishment. Small shop, nothing flashy, nice selection of donuts and something I haven’t seen- gourmet flavors! I tried the Crème Brûlée and Maple Bacon, and the frosted old fashioned. They were good but my favorite was the Vanilla cake frosted . Yummy😋
We’re working on the first 6…. Love them! The mochi donut is flavorful and fun with texture! The old fashioned and Apple fritter are way above average! The cinnamon bun is light and perfect! Jelly filled and red velvet… very delicious! Highly recommended, best in Scottsdale!
Sunday = donuts. Plain & simple. Went all in thinking 2 won’t be enough. Oh was I SO wrong. 1 is plenty!!! It was so delicious! Salted caramel is the way to go! Thank you! to the creators of these tasty morsels. BTW, sadly the second was left in the car only to be baked and melty 😫😫🥺.
Only worth it for the specialty doughnuts
I have to admit, I’m thinking about what I saw someone saying in their review, how no doughnut place can get 5 stars unless their prices are practical (i.e. not 2~4+ dollars per doughnut), and I eventually had to agree. I’ve gotten anything from the originals to the most pricy tier. I concluded that this place is incredible for the gourmet doughnuts, the very ones that are the more expensive. They’re completely justified. They could be 5 bucks a pop and I wouldn’t bat an eye. The original/plain ones though, aren’t different than ones from grocery store bakeries or chains, yet are more expensive, being $1.75 per. Really if you’re gonna go here, you should go big. If you want to get 2 dozen gourmet doughnuts for a private party, go ham. This is the place to buy from. If you want 2 dozen for your son Jeremy’s English class, it’s best to go with the ones from the grocery store. Either way, this is my favorite doughnut place there is, and I’ll continue to patron it with loyalty. 🫡😤
We love coming here Sunday mornings as soon as they open. As good as the donuts are, the STAFF are even better. Everyone who works there is always so pleasant & friendly which can be hard to do at 6AM. They also play good music, heard Panic at the Disco the last time I was there.
These are some of the best donuts I've ever had. They have fun flavors, but also do the classics really well. They are soft, fluffy and flavorful, everything you want in a donut.
The apple cider donuts were amazing.
Hands down the best donut shop in Arizona.
This location is in Scottsdale off Hayden and they make the donuts fresh everyday. I love the option to order ahead online for the specific ones that I desire or the fact that I can call ahead to order. My favorite donut is between the PB&J or the Pineapple fluff donut. Get there early because when the rush hits, it hits hard. The cleanliness is good and everyone is so friendly. They have to work on keeping the dinning space together but I'm so happy with The Local Donut.
What a Find! These are some of the Best Donuts in PHX 🍩 The Mochi donut is a Must!!
One of the best donut places I’ve tried! We love to try new donut places whenever we travel and I’m so glad we found this place! We came mid morning and they still had a good selection despite being sold out of most of their donuts. The pistachio cardamom one was delicious.
Excellent selection Delicious to the taste not extremely nutritious but hey what were you expecting? It's a donut and they make the other guys moto false advertising. This shop
is worth a detour. I think I pass more than a dozen donuts to get here.
