I was hesitant to leave a review only because I don't want a ton people finding out about and flooding this hidden gem. The happy hour is unreal, and is every day from 4-6:30. The selection of appetizers is large and varied, and each and every dish was incredibly fresh and well thought out. You just can't beat $6 a dish at how good they tasted. I would highly recommend the meatballs and tacos, and we also really enjoyed the lettuce cups and hummus. Another table near to us had the burger and fries, and by looks alone I will definitely be ordering that next time. I also had the strawberry habanero margarita and it was so spicy and fresh in the best kind of way. The bartender actually made it with well tequila so it rang up at $5 (all cocktails are this price during happy hour), which I appreciated but would recommend paying the full price for the better tequila just because the cheap stuff took away from the flavor. My only criticism is that that patio furniture has seen its days, but sitting outside was so peaceful with the sounds of the running water from the beautiful fountain. I can't wait to bring all my friends and family to this place!
I absolutely love this place! Amazing food, great atmosphere, super nice staff and their happy hour is fantastic! This is the perfect place to watch a game or just hang out with friends. I have been here for lunch, happy hour, dinner, and even brunch on weekends and always had a wonderful time! This has become my favorite place in Scottsdale hands-down :D

My wife and I visited on Saturday night for the live music with Blaine Long and had an amazing time. The food was great, the atmosphere on the patio was awesome and the service was outstanding. Jake the bartender made you feel like you had been coming there for years. What an awesome experience all around. This will be our new place.
the salmon dish is so yummy as well as the shrimps. hummus is so good to start with cause u can't get enough of the pita bread. always have the crosscut fries they have three different types all gd. the pizza margarita is also one of my faves and when I'm not having that I'll get the Sonoran burger. I've also had the meatballs those were really good. Also one thing I wish I knew before BAR FOOD. Love the chicken strips.
Metropolis is a hidden gem and will become one of my new favorite go too.
Great service and the food is amazing! Metropolis is also surrounded by local shops. Definitely a hidden gem to check out in Scottsdale.
Perfect for inside and outside dining, lunch, and also just getting drinks in bar with a few large TVs and music that isn't so loud you have to yell so someone can hear you. Plus celebrities like myself go there a lot. Jet not ciuuu
Great piping hot pizza and creamy hummus. The price of the food and cocktails were very reasonable too!!

Nice restaurant open a little later than surrounding restaurants.
Service: pretty good.
Parking: was able to find parking in the parking garage for free and a short walk to the restaurant.
Food: pretty good. I really enjoyed the chickpea curry and the jade honey ginger shrimp was pretty good, but didn’t have many shrimp. Boyfriend got the gnocchi and the cheesy corn casserole which he liked, but he realized he ordered far too much cheese with those two dishes.
The food was decent, but awkward proportions (I just wish the taco tortillas were a tiny bit bigger). The service and the cool placement of the venue made up for it, in my opinion. Not super classy (relaxed!), and limited capacity, but it made for a great place to talk with a date. Definitely a good experience!

I found it by accident and it was a fortunate one! Located in a newer metro living complex we had to drive around it a couple of times. Parking was easy and after a short walk under a well-shaded area we found Metropolis. Small place with a good looking bar and an awesome menu. It has a very eclectic menu which gave us many options to please us. I had the honey ginger shrimp platter with Asian slaw. I liked it but found it too sweet. Shrimps were enormous. Ron had mac'n cheese with meatballs. I tasted his mac and preferred it to my dish. Our friend had the pork bowl and devoured the whole thing! We also shared a caprese salad. I liked it but l was again overwhelmed by its sweetness as it was covered with a balsamic glaze. I still give it a five star for their creativity, diversity and service and l will return to try other dishes.
Delicious food, very kind owner, and excellent server. The parking was free and the overall experience was great. I highly recommend this restaurant.
This place just makes best salads ever. First time I’ve ordered cuban sandwitch and it came with side salad. Salad was so good, next time ordered Scottsdale salad - yummy! Bar is good too, friendly bartenders, amazing cocktails, great people. Good time every time :)
We have been going for years. We stay at the Optima, so it is so convenient. But I would recommend it to anyone. This year the food has taken a step up and I would call it excellent. I understand there is someone new in the kitchen. You can tell. I would definitely recommend stopping in.
Metropolis is hidden gem in Scottsdale ! The service is quick and the food is great with a wide variety ! My go to’s are the chicken wings, tacos, and Mykonos Salmon !! Don’t miss out !

I have eaten at Metropolis for the last three days, and it has been outstanding! I have had the cheeseburgers on two occasions and wings. All of which were perfectly seasoned and well cooked. I will eat there again and more recommend it to everyone and I
We had the "Caprese Salad Lemony arugula salad w/pesto, mozzarella, sliced tomato, & balsamic glaze" and the "Mykonos Salmon & Rice Lemony garlic & parsley rice w/roasted zucchini squash, tomato, peppers, feta & oven-roasted salmon filet" I also ordered an iced soy latte. Yummy!!
The regal beagle is alive and well. Come here for a stiff drink and some great company.
Went here for lunch today after helping a friend move in to The Optima. It's like the "Cheers" of the area. The bartender knew everybody by their name, and it's just a small intimate setting. They do have a serene and quaint outdoor patio area too! I ordered the salmon on chickpeas and curry and it was AMAZING! My husband ordered the Sonoran burger, and said it was a bit dry, but still delicious! Will for sure go again when visiting our friend!
The food is great. It catches you off guard because it looks like a nice bar so you're almost expecting bar food but then you end up getting top tier quality food. I gave it a 4 star because the outdoor furniture was not well kept which can be hard since the center of the complex is open to the elements. Overall you will enjoy it if you go.

Chill spot tucked into this gorgeous condo complex. Service is over the top and you feel like a regular right when you walk in. Great for lunch or evening with the hanging gardens as such a cool environment above you.
