Without a doubt my favorite place in the Valley for Chinese food. For years everything I’ve had here has been delicious - and the service is wonderful as well. A great local restaurant that the neighborhood residents love.
The portions are amazing for the price. The orange chicken and fried rice is some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Definitely the place to go if you’re looking for tasty, filling Chinese take out.
Be sure to check out their lunch specials. Ordering ahead of time is worth doing as this place can get pretty popular certain days (like weekends).

This place is amazing. I got the chicken fried rice, general tso’s chicken, and crab rangoons. All of this was about $35 but I was able to get four full servings out of it and then some leftover! If you’ve been searching for a go-to authentic Chinese restaurant near old town, this is it! I will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

The food and drinks are so good here. Came in to eat and had a very tasty margarita. I had the Singapore noodles and my boyfriend had the sesame chicken! Definitely recommend coming in to try!

This place is a small "hole in the wall", but these places sometimes are often the best. I ordered the sesame chicken and it was super flavorful. The lunch special comes with a spring roll and Rangoon, which were delish. The amount of food given is extremely generous considering everything only costed around 10 dollars. Nice and hot very flavorful and the service was quick.

I went here with my wonderful girlfriend for the first time after seeing many positive reviews and being in the area. The restaurant is kinda small but at 3pm there wasn’t much commotion going on so the limited seating was fine. I got the lunch special of S&S Chicken & my girl got plain fried rice, my food was delicious. However I did not care for the chicken egg roll, crab raggoons were delicious, & she enjoyed her ride though she tried to order it plain it did come with some veggies anyways. Overall I’d say the net rating you see from the general public is correct & id definitely eat here again. 4-5 fortune cookies

Once again, New China Gate impressed my entire family. Such delicious food! The first few times I ordered from here I thought they gave me the wrong order, but I quickly realized that the food was just more real than the other quick food restaurants, and had actual fruits and vegetables in it. The noodles were real, and the crab Rangoon was wonderful! Thank you for your amazing service!

Ordered online via Door Dash & picked up! They were so quick! The Szechuan Shrimp was the perfect amount of spice, and the General Tao’s chicken was fantastic! All quality ingredients! Do NOT sleep on the crab puffs! They are INCREDIBLE!!!!! I have to say-this may be my new favorite restaurant!

Food is decent because service is terrible you have to ask for everything. Napkins, soy sauce, silverware and then they look at you like you're bothering them while they sit and talk on their phones and don't wait on the customers. Never going back
