Rosati's

We were reminded by our ride-share driver, originally from Chicago, that this Rosati’s is run by siblings formerly from Chicago and that Tuesdays they offer half off pizza. Having just returned from a long weekend in Chicago we had little in the fridge/pantry and remembered the driver’s tip I had a very pleasant experience ordering over the phone, with a friendly reminder of the location address. I had just cancelled an order placed with wrong Scottsdale location. We got our pizza as ordered - partially baked- with cooking instructions on the box😊 Give them a try.

Rarely do I write restaurant reviews, especially pizza places, because much like burgers and tacos, so many places claim to have the best. And although I haven't tried every pizza in Scottsdale, this Rosati's is the best I've had thus far. The traditional thin crust is perfectly crisp. The sauce and cheese tastes like the Chicago that I am familiar with. And the meat and veggie toppings are always fresh (I try different toppings each time). My choice last night was Canadian bacon, spinach, tomatoes, and ricotta. Very impressed. On Tuesdays, you can get one large or extra large at 50% off. I have already marked my calendar with one day prior reminders. Exceptional pizza.

Edited: I gave this place another chance and the pizza was very delicious. Maybe they were having a bad day due to the pandemic the first I tried it but they will now be my go to for thin crust pizza. Super friendly like last time and very appreciative of my business. One of the better thin crust pizzas I've had. Crust is baked perfectly to have a small char around the edge, sauce is really good but my only complaint would be the cheese. It isn't gross, it's just the only ingredient that keeps this pizza from being great. Staff is extremely nice and helpful.
