What a great & family-friendly aquarium. The layout is excellent, affording the maximum number of people a great view of so many exhibits! The girls loved the otters, penguins, sloths, butterflies, and sharks. There is so much to see and do, I don't think you can possibly experience it all in just one weekend.
The butterflies are not to be missed, I definitely recommend adding that to your ticket, it's so worth it. We rode the undersea adventure ride and really enjoyed the individual talks by the marine biologist caretakers. There is plenty to do, see, and eat, and it is perfect for families.
Really nice experience! We only went to the aquarium portion, but everything was open and available to see. The smell as you start the aquarium is kinda like going into a fish market (as to be expected), so it’s pretty stinky. It’s a bit pricy at $45 per adult ticket, so the total for me and my girlfriend came to $101 after tax.
Very pretty and easy to walk around in the aquarium. Would recommend to go, but brace yourself for the smell and maybe find a coupon to use as you’ll probably spend about 2 and a half hours in the aquarium.
Also, check out the Voyage Odyssey that you’ll run into, it’s a really cool and special experience!
Great place for a family outing, but it is quite pricey, $45/adult & $35/child (2-12). Not sure if the weekends have a lot more shows going on, but we were only able to catch one show at the end of our visit.
The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and there was a lot to see!
Awesome place! The shark bathroom is really neat! The sharks and disgruntled looking fish swim right pass the window.
At the private event I was at, they had the cutest penguin walking around the aquarium through the crowd of people 😍 Absolutely adored him!
I recently went and had an amazing experience at Odyssey Aquarium in Scottsdale! Everything was beautiful, and the variety of activities and things to see surpassed my expectations. Having been to other aquariums, this one truly stands out. I'll definitely be returning; it's the perfect place to enjoy a day with the family and create wonderful memories with the kids. Highly recommended! 🐠🐢🦈
I have been to alot aquariums and this one by far is my favorite. I have been to this one cause my family has a timeshare but it's been forever I took my son there about 8years ago or maybe longer so I wasn't really able to see as much. This time around my boyfriend and I got to go and we just loved it.
OdySea Aquarium is fun for the ENTIRE family! It is worth every penny! They have a variety of different ticket packages and love that they offer discount tickets @ $31.45/person after 4:30pm (they close at 7pm). I definitely recommend purchasing tickets online ahead of time. The experience is phenomenal- both educational, relaxing, awe- inspiring, all of the above! Visiting on a weekday after 4:30pm is your best bet to miss the crowds… it thankfully wasn’t too busy on our last visit but the place certainly gets packed! They have a variety of other attractions in the area as well- Butterfly Wonderland, Ripley’s Believe it or Not, Laser Tag. We did not partake in any of these extra on our visit but they do offer bundle packages if you are into it!
This is a great place to take family if they are visiting from out of town or an enjoyable way to stay cool in the afternoon and keep the kids busy.
Don’t forget to check out their award winning bathrooms! Seriously, they’re insane!

This place has a great variety of marine life with such a beautiful presentation of information.
There is a unique revolving theater of marine aquarium shows which make this place really amazing. Odysea voyager was a beautiful experience.
We went over the weekend and the crowd was decent. We booked the tickets online and were lucky to get some coupons there as our first visit.
Finally this is a must visit place for you in the Phoenix City.
Much bigger and more expensive than other aquariums I've been to. Well laid out with kids kept in mind. We could have spent all day at the sting rays. Don't miss the octopus, absolutely awesome.
We had a really great time checking out all the different kinds of exotic fish, and we also got some good souvenirs from the gift shops they have in this place. They take some pictures when you fist come in and when your done you can buy a really nice framed photo of your group or of yourself. Lots of fun and great displays.
