Great food for the price. Went there on Valentine's. It is nothing special but the food is very good. We had the dinner special which includes an entrée, soup, 3 crab puffs, an egg roll, and fried rice. Large portions. The service was slow with take-outs and walk in. But the food was fresh and tasted good. The soup was served immediately. The crab wonton had lots of cream cheese and the egg rolls were homemade. The sizes are good and we had enough to take home for another meal. The special was a little over $12.00. Reasonably priced for what we got. Definitely will return.

Some menu items are great and other items not so much. To give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt, I ate here twice. Let's start with egg rolls...fantastic. Crab puffs are not great as an appetizer because of the consistency of the cream, lack of crab and the amount of sugar. Although it makes a great dessert.
The chicken that they use under their breading, in my opinion tastes like it's pre-cooked. The pieces are way too small and end up this horrible chewy overcooked waste, so in the trash it went.
The Happy family is absolutely delicious and the white rice pairs well. The fried rice lacks flavor.
The must have is the battered and fried shrimp skewers. These alone are worth the trip.

The food is absolutely authentic and delicious!!! Waitstaff extremely friendly and the portions of the meals are very generous.
The Egg Foo Young was a wonderful surprise in that it was truly seasoned and not bland in taste.
Also, to my delight, this establishment serves up a svelte Singapore Mi Fun (Yes!) that totally annihilates most others.
The Sweet/Sour Shrimp was a pure delight along with the Lettuce Wraps. Will definitely be back if nothing more than to relax with a genuinely bountiful pot of Jasmine Tea.
I applaud this location for its delectable meals and their personable service. And y'all...they still have great meals UNDER $10!!!

My daughter, sister and I enjoyed a wonderful and delicious lunch at The Wok Express today! We each ordered a lunch combo. My daughter loved it so much she said she wanted her birthday party catered by them! 👍😁

Great place to get lunch or dinner. Food is tasty and portions are big. I get chicken teriyaki or beef teriyaki or beef with vegetables. It's enough for 2 meals and the lunch comes below $10.

Come here if you want to get fed. Quality ingredients and large portion sizes. No shortcuts in preparation, no deceitful manipulation of ingredient ratios. It’s the type of restaurant you can go to often without breaking the bank.

We've been fans of The Wok Express for many years. We've eaten there several times and they've been our go-to Chinese delivery choice for several dozen times over the years. They have been unbelievably consistent. We have always had very fresh food from them. The vegetables they use in every dish are very fresh and high quality. Their house won ton soup is packed full of freshly prepared ingredients. Their menu includes all the classics, in their Americanized renditions. Portions are generous and you can customize heat levels for spicy dishes. The prices have remained fair and in line with similar restaurants. If you live close enough, they deliver via Beyond.

One of my favorites, consistently good food and prompt service. I have tried many of the entrees, all of the appetizers and soups and I have not had one that I would not order again. If you looking for anything Egg Fu Young, theirs is excellent. Generous portions, enough to share. To Go service is also good, we've never, that's never in 5 years, gotten an incorrect order or shorted an item. Amazing, considering most fast food and sandwich shops miss half the time.
Put the 'The Wok Express' on your list, to go or not, good Chinese /American food.

This is my GO-TO take-out Chinese spot. The food is delicious (I always get Moo Goo Gai Pan) and their NY style Egg Rolls are so yummy! Their egg-drop soup tastes so yummy and not like the pre-fab, goopy broth that so many other offer. To me, it's the best around! I am a fan!
