They have the best beef short ribs. Also the bubble tea here is really good. The prices are not too expensive and the staff is really friendly. We always come here when we crave Korean beef short ribs.
I really wanted to taste kimchi so I got the kimchi soup. It was good.I didn't ask for less spicy but I wasn't too spicy which was really nice, especially for my first time.
Amazing and so delicious! Please disregard below reviews. The server was very nice, and he was fantastic to us. We ordered bulgolgi, galbi, and dak galbi. Of course somethings in the menu are not for everyone, but please do not spoil this great opportunity for others. In conclusion, this is a great little place and it was exactly like a bbq in Korea. Take a bunch of friends and just order until you are full.
New Ownership... Again!. My husband and I stopped for lunch here a couple of days ago and were surprised (maybe we shouldn't have been!) that there was ANOTHER new owner. They have been there about 3 weeks, said that the restaurant has been there quite some time but that ownership has changed quite a number of times (no kidding, really?). I just hope this owner sticks around because the food is great!
My husband had his usual, the Dolsot Bibimbap (it's served in a stone pot, which is so hot, it will burn your rice on the bottom if you don't mix everything up, but it's served with a variety of things on top, including a fried egg that cooks the yolk as you mix everything). He used less of the chili paste/sauce than he used to because it is spicier than it used to be.
I had the Kimchi Jigae, which in this case is an extremely spicy stew (more like a chunky soup) with kimchi & pork (I opted for the pork on the recommendation of the owner, but it wasn't pork like just regular pork, I think it was something along the lines of a very lean Korean Sausauge that was sliced). It was SO spicy and the chili they use is just like the stuff my aunt gets sent in from Korea. Makes all the difference in the world!
The little side dishes were interesting. A couple I could have done without, but that's just personal preference. The ones we liked, they brought out more of. You just have to ask. But the flavors are more authentic and less westernized. What a nice change!
They have added a few things to the menu (which I noticed aren't on the website).
My aunt (who is Korean) once told me that if the kimchi is good, Korean people will eat at the restaurant. If it's bad, you won't see them around. In this case, there were people speaking Korean there, so I'd say it's a safe bet. We really enjoyed it!
This place deserves to be far busier than it is! I stopped in Sat Eve at 5pm and was the only customer. It looked like the young man and woman working may have been Mother and son? Owners perhaps? The soft tofu soup was excellent as we're all the bowls of pickled goodies brought out. From the flavor you could tell it was all low salt, which is not a criticism. There was salt on the table. I was very happy with the food and service and will be back regularly!
Loved it! First time but definitely not my last. Came so my teenager can try kimchi Had the the DDuk Manduguk and it reminded me if my time in Korea! Can't wait to come back already planning our return trip. Daughter loved her Kimchi SoonDooBoo. Staff is awesome very friendly and helpful with the menu. Totally recommend!!!!
Great Korean BBQ. Fun and interactive service with amazing BBQ and Kimchi! If you want a unique dining experience and fun service then visit here. The staff was hustling back and forth and made great recommendations for the meal. We will visit again!
This Restaurant is Magic! The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. The owner came by towards the end of our meal and entertained my daughter with magic tricks and origami.
Absolutely delicious!!! Can't believe I've never heard of this place!!! Definitely going on the top of my favorite places to eat!!!

I recommend eating here and eating the : Dduk mandu guk soup and bulgogi it's really good if your eating there for the first time
I love the atmosphere of this restaurant. The food is fresh and delicious. I take my husband to Red Kimchi frequently and he has become a big fan as well. He likes it spicy, but I do not, yet we both seem to find lots of different things to enjoy. We have invited our friends to join us on a few occasions, and they too have given us the thumbs up on this restaurant.
This place is the absolute best!!!! The guy when we walked in was nice and without asking made sure we had the fan/ac was on us and was well serviced and then after the meal he made us an oragami heart thing from a dollar bill and then gave it to us! It was from their own money too! And then he did magic tricks for us! Entertainment with a good as he*l meal this place was awesome so funny I definitely want to come back again!!
