If you want good traditional Italian food go here! The food was amazing and there was so much food! The hostess even danced with my mom and I when she saw us dancing because the food was sooooo good! The price is great for what you get also. If I could leave a 10/5, I would.
I grew up in New Jersey and the food here is the real deal. Hands down the best pizza and wings I have had since I moved here. If you are a fan of New York style pizza or want to try it then this restaurant is a place that you must try.
One of my favorite places for pizza near me! The owner is very friendly and works there everyday! I always go with the classic cheese pizza and wings. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Love supporting my fellow Albanians! 🇦🇱
I recently relocated to AZ. I love pizza but only enjoyed pizza in NY. I had tried pizza in many States only to be disappointed.
I read about Ray’s Pizza and saw they served “Silician Style” pizza.
I was pleasantly surprised! It was ready in estimated time. I walked in and was pleasantly greeted and the “Pizza Parlor” reminded me of a NY Pizzeria.
Pizza was delicious and even more tasty on Day #2.

Ray's Pizza is quite simply one of the best pizzas you will ever taste in the state of Arizona. I just went a few days ago, after about a decade, and the quality has still not changed. That is what makes then so amazing, their unwillingness to compromise on quality. Their pizza is cooked perfectly, not too crisp, not too limp. Perfect ratio of crust, cheese and sauce, and the flavor is outstanding! The wings they serve here are those kinds of wings that you can smell coming to your table from 20 feet away. Super saucy and super flavorful! You're punishing yourself if you've never been to any of the Ray's locations, you're punishing yourself!
This place is very clean, and the food is delicious. Bonus points that they are so patient and kind with my special needs son & very messy 1 yr old. They go out of their way to help out wherever they can, they actually cut my sons pizza into identical little bites for us which no other place has ever done. Thank you!
GREAT pizza, quick service. We drive out from midtown Phoenix to pick up a pie because nothing near us can compete. Rays in Scottsdale is the closest thing to New York city pizza in the Valley. Wish you would open up something in midtown/central Phoenix.
Delicious little pizza location. Friendly staff, excellent service. Chicken wings were crispy and flavorful, the calzone was very good the crust was fresh and cannoli's were yummy and fresh. Everything was delicious, fresh and flavorful.
I always love rays and is my goto for ordering pizza but whoever was working tonight made everything especially good <3 it was bomb

I recently had the pleasure of trying Ray's Pizza for the first time and I must say, it has quickly become one of my favorite places to get pizza in Scottsdale. The reason for this is simple: their Neapolitan cheese pizza is the best I have ever tasted.
As soon as I walked into Ray's Pizza, the aroma of freshly baked bread and melting cheese hit my nose and I knew I was in for a treat. I was greeted by friendly staff and immediately drawn to the menu full of variety. It was tough to choose, but I ultimately went with the Neapolitan cheese pizza and I am so glad I did.
The pizza crust was thin and crispy, with a slight char that added a depth of flavor. The cheese was gooey and delicious, with just the right balance of saltiness and tang. And the sauce was fresh and flavorful, with a slight sweetness that complemented the cheese perfectly.
But the Neapolitan cheese pizza was just the beginning. Ray's Pizza has a wide variety of menu options, including calzones, sandwiches, and salads. And their cannolis are to die for - the creamy filling and crispy pastry make for the perfect sweet ending to any meal.
We usually order take-out from Ray's Pizza and the staff have always made it easy for us. They are efficient and friendly, and they always ensure that our order is correct and ready when we arrive to pick it up.
Overall, I am extremely impressed with Ray's Pizza and will definitely be returning for more delicious meals in the future. Ray's had been a must-have slice for me in NYC. I could barely walk by the place without getting a slice. They set the standard for me for "street pie". So, when they arrived in Arizona, I was thrilled. I've been to the Hayden Rd location a couple dozen times. I have never had a bad slice there. Pretty consistent. Their Sicilian is fairly traditional but has been a bit short on the sauce a few times. I've tried one of their traditional Italian subs in the past and that fell short of being a good NY version. This last visit I found the will to go off the pizza menu and try something else. I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan sub, and I was not disappointed at all. A generous stack of very well breaded and fried eggplant slices on a sub roll coated with their great sauce and just enough cheese. This was legit. This Italian boy was pleased. Live their garlic knots, dripping with garlicky butter.
In my many visits there I have experienced some of the less than cordial interactions from staff. Not as well received as it is in the NY Burroughs. My last several visits I have experienced warm and friendly service. Especially so on this last visit.
I loved their Sicilian (mushrooms and onions) but now can't have wheat/gluten. Ray's is the best GF pizza I've ever had.
If you know ny pizza then you know the taste, the thickenss, the toppings, then Ray's is the closest to NY pizza this side of the country you'll find, especially in metro Phoenix! By the slice or the pie, this pizza place has that pizza place feel and taste!

Ordered a pizza from Famous Ray's through Door Dash while visiting on business. The pizza came quickly and was delicious. For those (like me) that are tired of everyday pizzas like Domino's, THIS is the way to go - the crust is on the thin side of normal (wonderful) and the pepperoni is that good kind of smaller but thicker pepperoni (so good). I'm definitely going to get another when I visit again.
I had two slices of Pepperoni pizza, one for me and one for my 2 year old son .. when we walked in I was anticipating a mean and unfriendly staff since the ratings all said they were a bit rude but all I was greeted with was warm smiles and great service. Idk if maybe I missed the rude owner but I don’t feel that the staff should suffer for his incompetence because they truly do produce a wonderful pizza 🍕 my son devoured it 😋
This is pretty good New York style pizza, doesn't disappoint. Do make sure you have them warm your pizza so its nice and hot. The service feels a little rushed but was fine. Great for lunch and a good value.
