Al Hamra - Scottsdale - Photo album

We went here to try something different from the norm in Scottsdale. Everything is either Tex-mex, Italian, or a steak joint. Indian cuisine is a rarity. We are so glad that we did. The food was fantastic, and the service was, as well. However, the waiter was at our table too often. It was kind
I may be too stuffed of delicious food to verbalize the deliciousness of the experience I just had. We think they may serve the best lentil soup we've ever had (3 peeps opinions), and it says it's organic! I can say that is the best garlic Naan I've ever had. Perfectly crispy, yet fluffy & thick, bu
We were traveling for business and we wanted some Indian food. We looked up this location and traveled to it. When we arrived, we were received with a warm welcome and shown to our seats. We then had a good discussion with the waiter. He recommended a few things and we took him at his word. It was a
I’ve been searching for delicious Indian Food in the valley for years. I used to dine at my favorite Indian food restaurants in Los Angeles and I’ve been craving the flavors I used to love. After some trying and searching, I found Al Hamra and I was immediately impressed at the 1st bite. The garlic
Great indian food in Arizona, has become my comfort food place. The tandoori wings are the best wings I've ever had.
Always available tables and the food is the best in town. Owners and staff are super friendly.
Just ordered through door dash. Absolutely delicious!!! Everything was spot on and my wife is English and we know tasty Indian. Can't wait to order again and try more dishes.
This is my favorite Indian restaurant in the Valley! I have ordered take out from here countless times and every single time it has been delicious. My family always starts with the Tandoori wings which are so juicy and flavorful. For the mains my favorites are the Dall, Paneer Makhani and the Chana
I've eaten at over 100 Indian restaurants in the US, Europe, and Asia, including the top ranked restaurants in London, and Al Hamra N. Scottsdale is hands down the best of any I have visited. Their chicken makhani and lamb saag are amazing- just outstanding. I've never had a bad dish here. The on
Excellent authentic Indian food and the Power 10,000 Indian beer was great! 👍 We'll be back!
I do like this place. When I travel into town, and wherever I stay in the area, I find time to drive up to enjoy a dinner with them. The service has consistently been good, the restaurant is clean and cool. The food is really good. Chicken tikka masala, roti, raita, mango lassi....I usually orde
I've been coming here for 6+ years and ordered take-out and dined-in every day of the week over that time. They used to have two locations: this location and another at Shea and FLW. Many of the negative reviews are based on accidental orders at the wrong location, or the time it takes to make the f
Absolutely the best Indian restaurant in the city! Make sure order spice level 1-10 … I had been calling it medium spicy from east coast terminology aka doing it wrong and the kitchen called me to make sure they had it correct. Finally Indian food spiced correctly (8-10 for me). So happy! Nowhere
Haven't been here since 2019 but the great taste stays the same. The only dilemma is the lack of staff. The server balanced a multitude of tables skillfully and despite no bartender, host or additional server, she rocked it and made my date night much more enjoyable. Check out Al Hamra for quality d
Very comfortable booths and tables. Always clean, cool, and friendly. Each dish’s spice level can be adjusted on a scale of 1-10 so you won’t be sweating through your meal unless you want the heat. Recommended for anyone new to Indian food!
This restaurant is absolutely outstanding. We have gone there with friends at least once every other week for many months and service and food has always been impeccable. My husband and I were a little bit reluctant at first when our friends asked us to join them. I could not have been more pleasan
Really hard finding not only this good of Indian food this far from the coast, but this good of Asian food in general. Use real tandoori ovens, flavors and spices out of this world authentic. Naan is fantastic. Quality of the meat is always superb (my biggest pet peeve at any Asian restaurant). Reco
Great place. Service was good and the food was awesome! Just wish the portion was bigger, 6 tiny pieces of Chicken Tikki for $20. Not your typical Indian food where you leave stuffed.
