Review Yo Pauly'd Ny Pizza - Scottsdale

Came here last night for my birthday. The place was absolutely fantastic! Employees were all great, hilarious and welcomed us in right away. The vibe and the food was all perfect, and we got enough drinks, appetizers and entrées for 5 people to be completely full, with tons of leftovers and still somehow spent under $100. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone craving a good pie, definitely my new favorite pizza spot in the valley. 10/10

My family and I drove 3 hours to visit Yo Pauly's New York Pizza for the first time. We're from New York. This pizza here definitely reminds us of pizza from back home. There are a lot of Pizza places in Arizona that wouldn't compare to Yo Pauly's. It was definitely worth the long drive. Service was great.

Really good NY style pizza. The crust was a little crispier on the bottom than I prefer but I am very picky about my pizza but I still enjoyed it. I would definitely be back

I love this place, the staff are friendly, the pizza is so good. My 4 year old and I went in today and had a blast. He had the cheese pizza and I had the pepperoni, and the knots yumm. Thank you Yo Pauly’s Staff!

Ordered 2 slices and a soda for less than $9, good deal in my opinion. I lived on the east coast for a year. It’s where this Midwest boy fell in love with NY style pizza and cheese steaks. Sat and watched the game on a Sunday. Pizza is the real deal, best you find here and maybe even in NY City. Enjoy!

Stopped in for a quick bite at dinner. No wait. Got the Tri City Calzone and it was great. Not too heavy and full on flavor. Decor was on the mark and waitresses were nice and attentive. Glad I saw Steve’s YouTube review recommending this!

Monday ordered at 730pm to pick up. They are 3 minutes from me, who knew? The estimated pickup time was 20 minutes. Arrived to pickup; the pizza was hot and fresh out of the oven and the wings were tossed in sauce while we paid. Ordered an 18" Sausage, Pepperoni and mushroom pizza and a dozen Buffalo wings. The pizza was just like a slice I had in New York a few years ago on Restaurant Row. Crispy flavorful thin crust that folds, delicious hit and a little sweet sauce, fresh toppings. The wings were crispy and the Buffalo sauce was perfect. The staff was friendly and happy even though they were closing in a few minutes. My go-to neighborhood pizzeria!

We ordered half cheese and half pepperoni, sausage and basil. Both were good, but by far the cheese was amazing. Crust was so good. Held up to all toppings and had amazing crunch. We drove an hour so the our son even enjoyed the pizza when we got home. My husband said the one with toppings was better the day after cold and the crust still amazing. If we are ever on that side of town we would stop for sure

Amazing food and place! Went on Sat, July 30th. Place was clean, friendly, and the food was SO GOOD! Wife ordered a Calzone, I ordered a sandwich. Sandwich was fresh and delicious. Calzone was baked to perfection and had enough cheese to make anyone happy. The guy at the counter was just as great as the food. He help us everything and made sure we needed nothing. Can not wait to go back. Will be traveling from Gilbert for this place more often. Yo Pauly...how about a place in Gilbert?

Picked up a large cheese and basil pie absolutely delicious! Crust was perfect and the sauce was robust and tasty. Garlic knots are binge worthy order the 12 count you won't regret it!!

Absolutely a legitimate NY influenced and operated pizza joint. This pizza reminded me if a typical "street pie" or bar pizza. Crust, on the thin side, was perfectly crispy from center to edge. Little bit of grease, great sauce, and perfect amount of cheese. They use sliced Italian sausage instead of crumbled - a personal preference. Their Buffalo wings were just perfect. Crispy without being overcooked and the sauce was thickened a bit to keep it from making the wings soggy. Some of the best prepared wings I've had in Phoenix. And, as if that weren't enough, I have to mention the spectacular garlic knots! Excellent service and very casual environment. Going back to try some of their other Italian classics. UPDATE: I made it back to try some of their Italian dinner entrées. Ordered the Eggplant Parmesan dinner. It was perfectly done in an Old World style. Great flavor and texture. We also tried their All Greek to Me specialty pizza. Again, great service.

Really enjoyed this place. Nothing to look at, but the staff is great, welcoming and friendly. Pizza is good: NYC style (of course), reasonably priced. Recommend Ziggy's Favorite. I'll be back.

Decided to come here for lunch after a colleague told me it was the best pizza in town. So with that said I made my way down. Ordered two slices and a drink. The slices came out hot and fresh and the pizza was tasty. Ill come back again to try other menu items but for now this place is in the top five of my favorite pizza joints around town. I just wished you guys had Coke products rather than Pepsi, that’s why I gave 4 stars.

I heard about this place on the Nextdoor app a few months ago. People were raving about how this was the best NY pizza in N Scottsdale, so I had to try it out. It took me a few months to make it over there (because I'm diabetic and a slice of two of pizza is a treat to myself every few months) but I finally did last weekend. I also read the Google and Yelp reviews too and was super excited to see they had 24" pizzas! The only other place I can think of that has oversized pizzas is Gus's Pizza in Tempe, who has a 36". Well, when I got there on a Saturday around 4pm and ordered at the counter, the girl told me they didn't have any left. Huh??? There's a 24" pizza pan on the wall right behind her, with 24" painted on it in full display, right next to all the other sizes. She then told me they don't make those after 4pm. Then she told me to always call ahead to check availability for 24" pies. Sorry, but this makes no sense to me. They really need to put that in writing on their website and Google/Yelp pages to let people know. I mean, it was a Saturday at almost dinner time, when I would imagine that would be a popular item. Maybe I'm wrong but I was still very disappointed. Are the doughs frozen? Why were they out? If they make their pizza fresh, why couldn't they just make one? All the things they told me doesn't make sense. I had guests coming over that night and was really looking forward to those 24" pies I've been eyeballing for 2 months. I ended up getting a few 18" pies. They were 4 star good but definitely not a 5. The cheese pizzas had very little cheese on them but overall pretty good but I probably won't be driving the extra few miles back to this place in the future for the disappointment they put me through. There are other places closer to me.

OMG, super good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pizza and wings was some of the best I have ever had. From now on when we travel to AZ this is a must stop!

As a follow up to Dave Portnoy's review, I tried a slice at Yo Pauly's. No complaints, it was a perfect slice! I also ordered a Meat Parm hero. Let me tell you, this was THE BEST Meatball Parm I've had in 8 years after leaving New Jersey! Great bread, delicious meatballs bigger than a ping pong ball and perfect sauce. I could not have been happier. I live in Las Vegas and this was superior to anything I can get. Go to Yo Pauly's now!
