Review Maui Pasta - Scottsdale

This place is a true hidden gem! We happened upon this place because we were running errands and I found it on Yelp! It’s tucked away in a small plaza next to Yama sushi. Not only does this place serve Italian food, but it also serves Hawaiian fare as well! We were greeted warmly and given both menus. Our hearts were already set on Italian food, so we ordered shrimp scampi and one of the combo plates—fettuccine alfredo, salad and garlic bread. While we waited for our food, we were given a sample of their rosemary grissini & artichoke dip. WOW! Beautifully baked and seasoned grissini and a creamy artichoke dip with just a hint of fresh lemon. Just tasting that little morsel, we knew we were in for a delicious lunch! Our waitress told us that everything is freshly made—pasta, sauces, bread, desserts--everything! And you can tell! They are so proud of the food they make because there is so much love and care they put into it. They also have ready made meals to go in case you’re in a hurry. While we were there, we saw a teriyaki bowl. It looked divine! They had a case full of decadent desserts from tiramisu, pies, cheesecake, cookies to two types of panna cotta! They also have their fresh pasta, pasta sauces, dips and salad dressings packaged and ready for purchase in their refrigerated section. Lavosh, grissini, focaccia bread, breadsticks and so much more are also freshly baked and ready to take home. Our food was delivered by one of the chefs and he was also friendly, letting us know that they make their own pasta and sauces. Everything looked phenomenal. The fettuccine alfredo was creamy and cheesy. Caesar dressing on the salad was top notch. THE GARLIC BREAD. I could have eaten a whole basket of the garlic bread with the alfredo sauce and called it a day! Haha! That is a must get! The shrimp in the scampi was large, juicy and perfectly cooked. It paired nicely with the lemon, butter, white wine sauce. We were too full to eat dessert there, but we did buy the vanilla panna cotta with passion fruit to take home. When we did get into it, it was SO GOOD. There is nothing this place can’t do! Service 10/10. Food 10/10. We are definite fans and we will be back. We hope whoever reads this review will give this place a try. You won’t be sorry! Support local!

I eat here 2 to 3 times a week. Don't let the name fool you. If you are looking for true Italian food look no further. The chef study in Italy and it shows. Their pasta is made fresh daily along with their sauces. The serve is excellent too. Thank you Debbie for introducing me to you amazing food.

this was my second time coming here, last year when I was in town I had the pasta, which was YUMMY. I decided to try the Hawaiian food this time & it was also great. The people next to me ordered the same thing as me because mine looked so good. 10/10 :)

I ordered the Pasta Carbonara and it was amazing! Everything was made fresh to order. The restaurant was very clean and the lady at the front was very nice and helpful. I will be coming back to try the rest of the menu.

This is a great little place (36ish inside seats + a few outside seats) located in The Shops at Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale. We loved the "Mom and Pop" feel this place exudes and the personal services associated with our visit. You can definitely taste the difference in the pasta compared to other restaurants as Maui Pasta makes their own on premises. Everything is fresh for that homemade taste you received when going over to grandma's house for dinner. Do not miss an opportunity to visit this gem!

The food he was really great. I used to go to Maui Pasta when it was actually on Maui. They recently located to Scottsdale and the food is just as delicious. It’s a small Mom and Pop operation but you wouldn’t know it from the quality of the food. It is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend.

Really surprisingly good Italian food, all hand made with fantastic in-house made pastas, sauces, wine and desserts. Famous for their tiramisu. Definitely worth more visits and a place to take friends

Got carry out, got the cheese lasagna & garlic bread! Seriously the best Lasagna I have ever had. I can’t wait to go back and enjoy their patio.

Chef Patty and her team did my wedding catering!!! We had a buffet style for 100 people and the food was AMAZING!! They did an excellent job. Service was great. Everyone said it was delicious. She helped me pick out selections and we even did a tasting. If you’re considering her for your event.. I highly recommend them!!! I just can’t rave enough about the quality. Thanks team for an awesome wedding experience!

Being from New York and Italian family, I wasn’t sure about a Hawaiian Italian restaurant. But so glad I tried it, the food was so yummy 😋. I got the Italian sausage with marinara sauce sub. My son got pepperoni pizza, and my daughter got a salad. Also got the lemon ricotta pound cake with lemon curd. That was so good, I love everything lemon 🍋. The only thing I would recommend changing is the bread with marinara. The bread was really hard, but marinara was delicious. Great place I would definitely recommend trying it out!

Took our 16 year old twins here for their birthday, because they wanted pasta. They loved it. It was the best Italian food in Scottsdale. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing. We went there on a Friday night and 6:30 and were the only one's there for an hour. Rachel was our waitress. She was fun to interact with and provided outstanding service. The Caesar said was fantastic as well as the Mozzarella Sticks. I also ordered their soup which tasted great. I ended the meal by ordering Fettuccine with Gorganzola sauce and Sausage & Peppers toppings. We bought Cheese Cake for take away. We will be dining here again, and again.

INCREDIBLE! Handmade pasta, handmade everything! You can really feel the handmade aspect in all of the food! Awesome little spot with indoor and outdoor seating. We arrived an hour before closing (sorry about that, we hope the tip made up for it) and they accommodated us without issue. Our party of 5 ordered several appetizers and pasta dishes, as well as dessert. Every single thing was delicious. One of my favorite things about this place is actually how quiet it was. Its off the main roads, so it was very peaceful and extremely refreshing to eat outdoors where no hussle and bussle can be heard, nor any music. Just a surprisingly quiet atmosphere with fantastic food and pretty flowers. This makes it an extremely appealing date night spot, and one I will be returning to soon for just that occasion.

Serendipity strikes again! We tried getting a last minute reservation at another restaurant in town to no avail. I then searched Italian restaurants nearby and found Maui Pasta. After reading reviews, I made a reservation. This place is a hidden gem! All home-made food and outrageously flavorful & delicious! Two of us ordered braised short ribs stuffed in pasta and the other ordered the carbonara. Large portions, reasonably priced - definitely will patronize again with more friends. Great service from waitress, too! This place is worth a try,

Tasty & welcoming. My friend invited me here and the staff was very friendly and the food tasted very good.

Had the chicken caccitore special. This had it all,shredded chicken, mushrooms, onions, peppers and great sauce. Cones with cookies and breadstick.

We love this place, and we eat here every time we come to Scottsdale. The short rib cannelloni is great, and make sure you get the cheesecake!

I have ordered take out several times and once from pasta shop for at home ravioli buffet. Everything has been great and the cheese cake is fabulous. There is enough variety in the menu to make everyone in the family happy from vegetarians to carnivores.
