We love it here. We just love the food. It’s always fun. The decor is wild and weathered. I know if you have been to Bucca at some point in the past, you may be thinking it’s tired and old school. Well, it’s not and sometimes old school is cool.
The foods are fresh. Sauces are zesty. Meatballs seasoned great. A dish for all tastes and everyone leaves happy.
Certainly go if you love Italian food. Definitely go for a fun night out with a group.
Another birthday, another awesome celebration at Buca! They do it right with their own birthday song and the giant brownie dessert. The portions are hefty so be careful when ordering. Fortunately all of the food is amazing so you can’t go wrong! The servers are attentive to your group and accurate with your order. Pretty awesome establishment with a very casual vibe.
Food and drinks were delicious, however the portions were too big. We ended up taking a lot of food home. Plate sizes are perfect for two people to share.
Omg was craving Italian food, and this place hit is delicious. Now I wasn't aware the portions were so big. Mind you, the server did warn us, but I wasn't expecting so much food. The trio appetizers were delicious, but I must say the fried mozzarella was a tad to greasy for my liking. Nonetheless, it was still good. The star of the show was the penne a la vodka. Omg was that some delicious pasta!! 😋
Let me tell you I'd fly to Phoenix again just to get me some of that pasta.
Service was wonderful, and the place has a ton of decor and pictures. They even had pics of celebrities.
What I found awesome was they walked us through the kitchen to get to our table. They also have a table at the kitchen ... maybe for VIPs?
You must eat here if you're in town! We didn't know what to expect and were blown away!! It's a family style dinner and you share large plates with the table, so much fun! The food was awesome but the real fun is in the restaurant itself! Tons and tons of old pictures on the wall, funny stuff all over, it's just a great time all around. Definitely order the Tiramisu! We had a huge group and they were very accommodating. Best family dining restaurant in Scottsdale!
Classic old town American Italian fare.
Watch out and be warned the family sized portions are pretty big.
The service is excellent and they really make you feel at home.

The atmosphere is unique. It is based an old Italian restaurant concept and it feels warm and inviting.
Fantastic place! Took family that was in town there. Four people ate an appetizer, two entrees and two desserts. Even had a couple drinks too for under $200!
Have come here several times. Great atmosphere and very large portions! It’s on the pricey side for sure but 2 plates of food + a salad is great for up to 4 people. Service was good so no complaints. The spaghetti had a bit of an odd aftertaste on our last visit. Chicken Parmesan was very good.
You enter, the teenage Maitre D seems uninterested. The Ambiance is amazing. Pictures of people and places from the early 1900s and frescoes of old Italy and lounging revelers adorn the walls. The service it good, not great, but good. The food is well apportioned, and the servers explain that it is meant to serve 2-4 people. So expect to leave with leftovers. Everything is delicious. I have gone back and plan to again.
I loved it! Says it's a chain, I'm from the east coast and never heard of it.. food was awesome (highly recommend the Brussel sprouts with prosciutto!) The decor was like nothing I've ever seen before! . Family style--- huge portions to share.
