It's Sushi in the Desert! So, get real about your expectations a bit, this isn't the coast of Japan or Nobu in Los Angeles, so my ratings are based upon the context of 'It's Sushi in the Desert!' . And for that, Sakanas is one of the best options in Phoenix. Relative to value for the money that is.
Absolutely without a doubt the BEST sushi I have ever had!! Went here last night with 9 others. We had a blast and they were SO accommodating even though we came in about 45 minutes before closing. Ate like kings and queens and very affordable for the quality and the amount of food!
