Elevated bar food. Salmon was pan sautéed ( too fried and too much salt in coating for me) and then baked. Salmon was crunchy and thoroughly cooked - not raw, which is the way I like it. Steak sandwich ( lots of small steak pieces on a browned bun). But note that flavor reflects grass fed beef (didn'tlike thus flavor) (i.e., this is a sustainability restaurant). Fries were ok.
Ambiance was an upscale bar. Lots of light and seating. Good place for a large group. Outstanding, friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable work staff.
My wife and I met her son, wife, and grandchildren for a Father's Day get-together. However, we were an hour early, so we started at the bar. Great food, service this day was awesome, and the bartender made excellent well drinks. We will definitely visit again.
We chose Hand cut by chance and are pleasantly surprised.
Our waiter was kind, thorough, and patient. He answered all of our questions and had some great recommendations.
We started our dinner with the meatball appetizer which was tasty and a few delicious drinks. We weren't really sure what to expect but it was a great start to our meal.
Dinner was equally good. My partner had the pork chop and I chose the ribeye. There are photos in Google of the menu that are outdated to no fault of the restaurant. I've uploaded new copies as the pricing has changed a good bit.
My only wish is that the meals came with a side. Spending $54 for a rib eye and another $11 for mashed potatoes might be a hard pill for some guests.
Overall we enjoyed our stay.
The pricing was great the food was pretty good the steak was a little over done per my request but within a tolerable amount. The portions are good and the flavor was awesome. The lemon pepper asparagus was really fantastic
Tempura zucchini is so so so delicious. Good match to the beer. Stake salad, crab pasta are both amazing too.

We came to the area from Nebraska for my brother's wedding and decided to come here based off the menu after looking at several places earlier in the day. 11/10 experience! David brought champagne and a lit sparkler over to our table shortly after we sat, which was such a nice surprise. I think he thought my husband and I were the couple who got married, but that's okay 😉 David was VERY attentive, the food was PHENOMENAL (this is coming from folks who butcher their own meat), and the atmosphere/decor are very high class yet welcoming.
Now for the specifics: the Ribeyes were some of the best steaks we've ever had especially with the compound butter that comes with it, the filet sandwich was good, but the crab pasta (if you like seafood) is an absolute must. If you like salt and vinegar chips, get the French fries. The asparagus were a little mature, they need to be picked sooner, but the sauce was delicious. The truffle mashed potatoes are delicious. The regular macaroni and cheese is okay, but nothing super special. The Brussels however, were phenomenal. We would absolutely make our way back the next time we come to visit our friends who live in San Tan Valley.
I travel a lot for work. the 1st time I went to the restaurant I was greeted promptly and the waiter was awesome I believe his name was Steven. I have been back 4 times and will continue to go there with the excellent service I had. The food is tasty and great presentation. Today I met the General Manager Shelby and she was also Great. we talked briefly and I am impressed. She holds herself and her staff to a very high Standard, She is doing it right! I can't wait for my next trip to the area. Thank you for taking time to talk with me and give great service!
Honestly, this place gets everything right. Everytime I've eaten here I've found myself in a conversation about how good something we're eating is. It can't be luck.
Update: we stopped in for snacks and drinks, and it was delicious and amazing as usual. Don't miss!!

I was just looking for a casual, low key place to get a steak that we could walk to and I stumbled on this one. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation. Even if there are open tables they will tell you there's a wait.
The food was seriously SO good! Salt and vinegar fries (not pictured) are my new favorite thing, they taste just like the chips, but better! The steak was cooked perfectly and the butter took it over the top. The mashed potatoes were simply amazing! Not too creamy, not bland at all and complimented the steak perfectly! My husband had the pork chop which also came with an apple sauce that was fantastic!
This was thee best decision and I can't wait to go back. Everything was priced as expected. The sides seemed to be the priciest thing but I mean they were as important as the mains! Don't skip them!
The crab pasta and artichoke dip is beyond amazing! The restaurant has great service and the hostess tonight was very sweet! Food came out in a timely manner. The drinks were a bit pricey for the amount they service you.
