Very dog and vegan friendly. They even have a dog menu. Several vegan options including a beyond bratwurst. Great beer selection, fire pit, games. Very fun, a must go in Scottsdale.

The food was really delicious, I had the sausage board and would definitely order again. The pretzel was a bit stale but still tasted ok.

If you love brats this place is for you. I had to eat my bratwurst with a knife and fork as it was too big to pick up. My wife enjoyed the sausage platter since she doesn't care for a lot of bread. The service was friendly and fast too.

beer was really good and crisp. try the one with the blood orange base. sausage sampler and totchos were also really good.

Tons of beers to choose from. They had over 20 beers on tap. Even though my favorite delirium was out the bartender gave me another recommendation similar! The food took a minute dure to a slow kitchen but it was good as well. Would definitely recommend for those visiting Old Town Scottsdale.

This place is the total package. Low key and cozy outdoor area. Very dog friendly which was a cute bonus! Very attentive servers, and the food and drinks come out quick even when busy. In 2 visits, my favorite beer was the Cali Creamin (creamy and sweet) followed by Puppucino (a nice sweet coffee stout). The star was the Buffalo fried cheese curds. I went back just for these! The schnitzel is delicious and homey - smothered in gravy and pickled red onions served over German potato salad. The fries are good but unnecessary compared to the other dishes. BBQ nachos are good, but only really need a few bites. They are smothered in toppings though- good to share. Hot Italian sausage with sweet onion jam is a nice quick meal, but a little too big to eat and very mild flavor. I really like the sweet onion jam! Overall great spot with lots of food and beer options. @goodfriesonly

Came in to eat late in the eve and got seated quickly. The food was good, our party was 4 people and we split the schnitzel and had a beer. We enjoyed the time we spent there. FYI the curry ketchup is yummy.

Wife and I stopped for some quick bites and a drink. Great recommendations from the server. Forgot her name. Awesome atmosphere during happy hour. Love that it’s pet friendly.

Claudette was an absolute delight. Very prompt, super friendly and very engaging. Well done. As for the food. As far as German food is concerned, it goes a long way toward a good thing. The schnitzel is absolutely wonderful. The breading properly covered and crisped. A full sized portion as well. The grill on the cabbage was a beautiful presentation. The sausage trio was delivered with a full size.of rustic charm and very good flavours. Haus, sweet and spicy. All three brought a unique and very tasty presence to the dish. BH does it just right. Wonderful beer selection, grand atmosphere a d.very friendly staff. All in all it was a very very enjoyable meal, and delightful evening out. Absolutely a good haunt for those of you who have a desire for a great schnitzel and some Bier. Well done BH. Prost!

This is long... We decided to give this place a try yesterday and were incredibly disappointed not by the food but by the staff! We stood by the entrance for 10 minutes completely ignored before being seated...that should have been a sign to leave but we decided to give it a try anyway. Took over 20 minutes to be acknowledged and order food and drinks once seated. Thank goodness for a nice spring day and a nice atmosphere otherwise we would have left before ever ordering. Once we got our food it was great! I have nothing bad to say about the food which is surprising considering. Then we were ignored once again and it took another 20 minutes from being finished with our food (empty drinks too) before we saw anyone else again. By this point we handed the waitress our card and said “here is our card we will just take the bill please” to get her to return to us faster. Thankfully she did! My $5 tip felt like too much! A few things to point out that we noticed to be the problem: 1. Understaffed! You had a full restaurant and 3 waitresses but that wasn’t the worst of it. They had no designated section. They would get lost in one corner helping a few tables and then never make their way back to their other tables on the other side before they long needed something else. They were running all over the place like zoo animals. So unorganized! 2. We had to ask a table next to us if we could borrow their condiment box on their table because we were never given any with our food. Thankful for some nice patrons who were experiencing what we were with service! So to you; thank you again!!! 3. The older gentleman who appeared to be the manager walked past multiple dirty tables and customers in need more times than the 3 waitresses. We even watched him and 1 waitress continuously drop dirty dishes on a table next to us to the point that a 2 person table had over 20 empty/dirty glasses sitting on it. We attempted to flag him down a couple times too with no luck. Tunnel vision! 4. Bad management and understaffing will be why this place fails! We will never return and will never recommend to anyone! We were actually looking forward to the experience, food and beer too! Sad to have had such a bad experience!

There's a nice quaint little place food was good server was excellent he was also the bartender very friendly and very helpful after eating we stepped outside and walked around the backyard they have games cornhole and tables grassy area nice place we would come back again

Can't tell you what a great find this was. Food was outstanding, the service was on point & the beer was very tasty. I'm not much of a beer drinker, but I did find one that I could drink daily.

I really enjoyed the fish and chips and the prickly pear margaritas! Our server was awesome...I am bummed that I forgot his name. We were there yesterday between 2-3pm. My first time there...will be back, absolutely! My only criticism, so very minor, is that the table was a little dirty. Nothing crazy.

They changed their menu from last time we were there a year or so ago. No more curry bratwurst which was really good and so i tried the schnitzel and it was awful! Gravy had zero flavor and it smothered the schnitzel so the breading on it was a soggy mess. We ordered a pretzel from the starter menu which somehow the waitress thought meant we wanted it for dessert so we cancelled it. Sides are fries and that's it. So disappointed in this place. Not surprising that we were one table of only a few during dinner there.

Just because I can’t rate it zero but this place is a disgust. Treated very poorly. Discrimination.

We were literally just there right now. Service not good. Took long for waitress to do each task. Took a while to get to get utensils and sugar for tea. Took a while to get bill. Food sub par. Salad dressing on lemon arugula salad flavorless. Brat seasonless. Cole slaw has zero dressing though they said they changed their dressing there was none on it what so ever. Took us 2 hours to eat and get out because of the lag. Overpriced place for sub par everything.
