Gorgeous atmosphere. Perfect portions of decadent food. Be prepared to spend some time here. Our reservations were for 6:15 & we left at almost 9. Gondola ride tickets for everyone in party complients of the restaurant.

We came here for dinner on Saturday and had such an exceptional experience! We ended up sitting outside on the patio because the weather was so beautiful. We started with the Burrata appetizer and it was so fresh and creamy, it was so hard to even put it down! My husband got the Butchers Cut which was an incredibly tender, perfectly marbled ribeye. I had the Linguini with scallops, clams and truffle butter and it was SO good. The pasta is homemade in house every day and you can really tell in the quality of the flavor. It is the perfect date night spot when your craving a fancy Italian cuisine, plus after dinner you can even catch a gondola ride just a short walk from the restaurant. They also have a great kids menu, if you have the little ones with you! Also, our server was extra friendly and the entire staff was so super helpful and nice.

Wow. Amazing service from Whitney. Great artichoke app, amazing entrees for both my husband and I. Even bought us drinks for our early anniversary. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner here with my husband. The service was fantastic and the steak and charcuterie board were out of this world. Definitely coming back for the gondola and another dinner date!

Best food at the Hyatt Resort by a mile. A very creditable negroni also. Have eaten here twice in 2 years (at a business conference) and left impressed both times - food and service are both top notch.

I brought my wife here to celebrate her birthday and might I say what a beautiful evening we had. Laura sat us next to the outdoor fire, we stayed nice and warm on the chilly evening. Our server took excellent care of us, he answered all of our questions and also suggested the best appetizer on the menu. My wife is pregnant and was not able to drink so the bartender made her a mock-tail to celebrate in style. The food was amazing everything was cooked to perfection and the flavors were impeccable. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better the pasty made a special desert just for my wife to make her birthday perfectly sweet. Included with dinner was a complimentary gondola ride on the water ways of the hotel grounds. On the water with a warm blanket on our laps and candles to set the mood the gondolier sang romantic Italian love songs as we slowly glided across the water under the stars. Alot Ristorante e Bar over exceeded my expectations in every way. We had a beautifully romantic night and will be back again! Thank you!

Awesome place for a date night. Dinner was amazing, I had the linguini that came with calms and scallops. My husband had the lamb and said it was the best he ever had. We followed dinner up with the gondola ride which was great! The guy was awesome and a great singer. My only reason for 4 stars is because it did take a little longer for our waitress to actually take sour order. It was a Saturday night but we were starving lol.

Fantastic food, very knowledgeable staff regarding menu choices and specials. Good place for intimate family dinners, or a romantic evening meal. Gondola rides add to the theme and overall enjoyment. My family had a wonderful experience.

Was a little nervous about ordering the salmon but I'm glad I did. While I got the maple bourbon on the side, it too turned out to be as tasty as the salmon. I even dribbled some on the potatoes. Definitely recommend it.

Had a wonderful dinner at Alto Ristorante inside the Hyatt. The atmosphere was great the food even better! The Prawns were spectacular. I’ll definitely be back again for a round two here at Alto! The gondolas look so fun.

Went here for date night/anniversary celebration with my fiancé. We went on a Thursday evening at 6pm and the place was not too crowded. Our server and the entire staff were fantastic - Christophe was very knowledgeable about the menu and all of the flavors of each dish. They strive to use local ingredients anywhere they can on the menu. We ordered the baked burrata as a starter, which came in the cutest little mini le cruset cocotte. It was extremely delicious and cheesy, hearty but to too filling. I ordered the seafood linguini and my fiancé ordered the lamb t-bone. I also got a drink, almost entirely just for the name, called the One Eyed, One Horned Flying Purple People Eater. It was light and fruity, very good. My linguini was delicious, featuring scallops and clams. My fiancé liked his lamb but said it was slightly under seasoned for his taste, but it was cooked very well. Then, for dessert we got the gondolino which was a crème brûlée with a cookie that looked like a gondola and was filled with fresh berries. Beautiful presentation and tasted great. Following dinner, we took the tickets we received for dining to the gondolier and went on a lovely ride where we enjoyed some conversation and an Italian love song serenade. We can’t believe we’ve never been to this place before even though we are locals, but we will definitely be back. Absolutely recommend.

This was my first time here and not my last. The restaurant was beautiful, the food fantastic and the service top notch. It was too cold for the gondola ride so that will be one of the first things I do on my next visit. I had duck which I like anyway but this duck was mouthwatering good and full of flavor....the meat and cheese selections they chose were perfect. The only thing I wish was different was the fact that the pe-fix meal had to be ordered by the whole table or else no one could have that selection. So if need be I will go alone so I can give it a try. :-)

"Yep, give this place a 10/10" - My friend Kristina 😂 * Christoph was an amazing server last night at Alto he is now our favorite German guy at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale!! I decided on the butcher cut tonight and it did not fail me!! Kristina tried the gnocchi and it was emmm bellissimo. As I first stated 10/10 we will be back 😂 and just a jump hop and skip away 🖤 They have an awesome deal that they promote as a 'family of 4' deal to feed the whole table for $49!! I heard 4 adults can be fed well on this!! Salad, pasta and dessert, can't go wrong!!

Absolutely fantastic. Husband loved it, they made an amazing off-menu meal to accommodate my dairy allergy, even the three-year-old loved it. Great staff, great food.

It ok. This is pretty common Hyatt food

Pretty expensive with a lot of simplicity with not a ton of flavor.

If your staying at the Hyatt then it makes sense

There are better choices in the area if alto is your destination

The Hyatt Regency in Scottsdale Arizona was a delightful stay for a business meeting. Although it was a quick trip I had the opportunity to eat at Alto's for two meals. Breakfast was my standard - a bowl of oatmeal with a side of scrambled eggs. This may not be anything special, but when you eat it regularly, you can tell a difference in the quality. Oatmeal was steel-cut and the eggs must have been loaded with butter or some magic potion as they were creamy and wonderful. My colleague had the green chili and avocado omelet and it looked delicious. I did notice the breakfast potatoes were loaded with vegetables (peppers/onions) - glad I didn't go that route as I really don't like all the extras in my potatoes, and for that matter, my eggs. Lunch was nice as well. Southwest Ceasar with Salmon and my colleague had the quesadilla. Great flavors. I did notice the sizes of their meals are not overwhelming. The salad was in a wide dish, but not too deep and the quesadilla looked like two tacos. The only reason I'm not rating them higher is I though the prices were a bit high. I know it's resort pricing but $9 for oatmeal and $19 for a mid-sized salad still seems a bit on the higher side. Our server Roberto was fabulous! Written by Dr.DP
Dee-Lish. Do not leave without partaking in the proschuitto, white truffle risotto & creme brulee. Order them ALL! And take them up on the complimentary gondola ride after dinner. Wonderful singers. their voice echoes off the still lake. It's beautiful.

Also, if it's your birthday they treat you to complimentary desserts, a coupon for a future visit & a card signed by the staff that night. Makes it a special experience.
