Mark was our waiter and he provided outstanding service✨✨. We sat out on the patio and it was nice. Definitely will return and try more items and looking forward to another wonderful experience!

My Fiancé and I had an amazing experience. The chicken parmigiana was outstanding, and the drinks were expertly crafted. Special thanks to the attentive and friendly staff, Cole, Brendan, and Francisco, for making our visit memorable with their excellent service and thoughtful recommendations. Highly recommended!

I have to admit that I was a little disappointed. The atmosphere was excellent. Service was good. The food ...I would say lack luster. Maybe it was my taste buds. Maybe it was the mimosas 🤔. But I expected something so much better. A Mercedes with a Lexus engine. But that's just my opinion.

This place has a great environment, with the option of eating in or outside. They have large wine selection. The food we tried it was delicious. Every single dish was tasty with a generous portion. The staff was very friendly. But something we all loved was the desert.... that was absolutely delicious. We will be back for sure.

Kira the waitress was awesome! Sad no music! Food here is amazing. You really need some music and a happy hour. My family is big we’d be here all the time if you added music and a happy hour. Our waitress was was above and beyond. :)

I enjoyed the modern, elegant ambience of the restaurant - great setting. Service was also absolutely excellent. Cocktails were a bit hit and miss. They make a real good Manhattan, however, I was a bit disappointed by their Old Fashioned. They served it up with many small cubes rather than the one standard big cube, diluting it. Requested it remade with the one cube and when it came back it still tasted diluted so I think they might have just poured the same drink into a new glass with the new cube. I could be wrong, but that’s how it tasted. As far as food goes, I loved their appetizers - mussels and calamari were really delicious. Also had their burger and French onion soup which were good, but for the price, wasn’t quite what I was hoping for.

Came here with my family and had an awesome dinner. Highly recommend making reservations but we got seated right away as soon as we got there. They have a really affordable wine list with a good variety to choose from. Our service was great and the food was wonderful. The portions are a good size so you certainly won’t be leaving hungry.

The dishes were amazing and recommend both their brunch and dinner. Presentation and ambience is more than I could ask for. The staff goes over and beyond to ensure a great time. The manager Brandon is by far the best with checking in on every table and does more than any manager I know from serving, seating guests and getting to know everyone that steps into Local Bistro. I can’t recommend this place enough it has become my favorite dinner venue for any day of the week and brunch spot on sundays!

A very impressive and delicious dinner. Visiting my family in Scottsdale for the holiday season so as usual, we went out to dinner almost every single night and this was one of our best dinners that we had during my 10 day visit. They have great options on the menu in terms of food and drink. Our server was also very polite and I like how open and modern the design of the restaurant is. They have a full bar area as well. It was pretty popular and lively tonight due to college football. My favorite part of the dinner was the taste of each of the food items we ordered. I started off with a childhood favorite appetizer: the Beef Carpaccio. I get it all the time back home in Los Angeles, and have had it many times on this trip, and this was by far my favorite I had while in town. It was thin and smooth, and the sauce on top really made the dish. For my entrée I chose the Chilean Seabass and was really impressed with the sauce and chorizo mixed in. It was a good sized portion and I ate every bit of it. Overall a really nice dinner. As soon as the meal was over, I already knew I would be coming back next time I am in town. I feel it would be good for almost any occasion and I certainly have it already on my repeat list. I would recommend it to anyone.

Local bistro is our favorite! We always come and sit at the bar! Becca and Brenden are our favorite! They give great service, make me fun drinks and the new menu rocks. Had the three cheese ravioli tonight and added blackened shrimp! Chicken and artichokes and the salmon are also two of my favorites but this ravioli is up there as a contender! Highly recommend!

We made reservations & were seated right away on the patio. Unfortunately the heaters were on - some people felt they needed it. The wait staff diplomatically fixed the problem & everyone was happy. I had the chicken & artichokes over polenta & LOVED it. My husband had the wild mushroom pizza - best ever!. My friends had the trout & the pepperoni pizza - both huge portions & delicious! Great little place.

My new favorite brunch place! The menu is phenomenal and the food exceptional! I really enjoyed my dining experience on the patio and my server was on point. I can't wait to go back!

Just love this place. We had not been in several months and stopped in for a late lunch. Basil gimlet is stellar. Daughter loved the pear martini ( a bit sweet for this gimlet lover). Salads are so fresh and flavorful. Probably the best Caesar we have had in town and with shrimp added, made for lovely lunch. The tomato soup and grilled cheese is ‘adultized’. Definitely recommend. We have put this back into our weekly rotation. Service is STELLAR.

Birthday dinner tonight did NOT disappoint! Our server tonight was Scott, his first night, which instead of dulling our evening with first night jitters turned into an incredible experience for us long time LBer's!! What a genuine naturally talented person and seasoned professional!! Great job Scott! We enjoyed getting to know you, were impressed you remembered our difficult names lol Lolita & Dante, our proclivities in our order style without missing one step in the service food some or cocktails areas. Made for a fun night we almost stayed in for!! We heard you do a great job with the table next to us-first timers, walking through the menu, specials soups and cocktails in the best way as I rooted for you ���� Best wishes to him for continued success at Local, we will be sure to ask you next time. We enjoyed a wonderful meal last night! The seafood Linguine was spectacular with black linguini and a medley of perfectly prepared seafood. My husband enjoyed the rigatoni ala vodka and said it was just the way he liked it. Great wine selection and superb service. The only downside was the noise level. It was hard to carry in a conversation. But that I suppose is to be expected in a Bistro!

The service and food was excellent! Always a lively crowd in the bar, dining and patio areas. The lemon vinaigrette on the simple house salad was tasty and the New York steaks au poivre were exceptional. Always a local favorite!

The food is amazing, the staff is very friendly / attentive, and the atmosphere is perfect for anything from a family dinner to their bottomless mimosas on the weekend. Also doesn't hurt that there is live music Sunday's for brunch!!

We had an excellent dining experience last night at Local Bistro! The menu was full of delicious options but we decided on the whole chicken, which was cooked to perfection! For an appetizer we shared the shrimp with chorizo- even the kids were fighting us for the last piece! Speaking of kids, the kids menu is way better than at other restaurants including steak as an option...for only $6! Kids eat free until Sept 30 with an adult entree. What a deal! The service was impeccable- something that unfortunately doesn't happen everywhere. It's a beautiful restaurant too. We can't wait to go back!

The food was excellent but our waiter was not. Was not friendly at all. Very inattentive to our needs. Had to ask twice for everything. Asked for our bill and after waiting for 10 minutes had to ask again. Food and ambiance were great!

The food is excellent and the bottomless mimosas make this a great spot for brunch.

Let me preface by saying, i love going out to eat and drink. I love a great atmosphere and great service. There were things I liked, but a couple of things ruined the experience for me. The drunk bread was awesome as well as the chicken parm. Our waiter was pleasant for the most part until I pointed out that my pork entree was raw. Our table watched as he approached the manager and they discussed the issue. Nothing came of it. No apologies. It was like nothing happened. It rubbed my entire table wrong because raw pork should be unacceptable. Furthermore, the manager didn't have much of a personality for the restaurant business. He was quite difficult to speak with on an average level. I wish I would have had a better experience because they have potential to be good, but they had a few rookie mistakes tonight. They've been around long enough to know better.

All I have to say is pork was served raw and the manager refused to acknowledge it.

Great Place. Ate there recently and were very pleased with the offerings and their service. Beef Carpaccio and Tuna Tartar were very nice but could have used just a bit more flavor. Daily special of Rainbow Trout was excellent. Truffle Mushroom pizza could have used a bit more drizzle. Overall, still very nice and very friendly service.

Went to this restaurant for an anniversary. Loved everything and the atmosphere with reasonable prices

If you want to be treated as a customer of value do not go to Local Bistro. If you are Jewish don't patronize Local Bistro until they change current management. The owner needs to address his management team.

We enjoyed a two fabulous dinners. Don had Black Linguine w/ Seafood. I was looking for Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo but on John the managers recommendation, tried the Tagliatelle w/ wild mushrooms and a side of grilled shrimp. John was so right. Our dinners were succulent. John and Tim our server were so attentive. They topped our dinner off with a desert of custard, strawberries and cream that was to die for. All we needed afterwards was a couple of pillows and a blanket. This was a 5 star dining experience.

Great local bistro - not to be missed. Our first visit and we're already planning to go back. Ordered a cocktail that was a house original and in was well made. We both ordered salads and they were good, I would have preferred a little more dressing on the argula, but the rest of the salad was well composed and tasty. Our entrees (strip steak and salmon) were generously sized and delicious. The owner came out to greet us because we'd indicated we were first time guests. He was very charming. We're adding Local Bistro to our frequently visited restaurants list. Our recommendation: "Try it".

Soooooo impressed!!!!. Tonight me, my girlfriend and her daughter ate at Local Bistro. We were so impressed with everything: drinks, food, dessert, and service. Keep in mind we are both servers in the industry and have very high standards when we go out to eat; which we do very frequently. This is the first time we loved everything so much, we just had to review them. And were then very surprised to see they only had 73%. Tim was our server and he answered every question we had, which was a lot. We went with his recommendations and, obviously, were VERY pleased. Specialty homemade cocktails, delish! Tuna tartare, drunk bread, and the burratta on the apps were HUGE, considering the price. Ton of food for a good price! Then went on to dinner! Cioppino and filet diane. Again, great portion size for the price. We ordered the filet rare and it was cooked perfectly! You cut into it, it was like butter. Diane sauce was perfect. Haven't found a good filet Diane in ages! The Cioppino was full of seafood with excellent flavor. For $6 my friends daughter got a soda, a huge plate of mac n chz, and a mound of gelato with chocolate sauce. They are kid friendly! Then the manager John came out and introduced himself. Very nice guy, he chatted with us for a bit. Then the chef came out and he was just as nice! We had panacotta for dessert, which was so good!!! We will be telling all our customers what a great experience we had! Cannot wait to go back.<br/>P.S. When you read the dessert menu, you have the option of buying the kitchen crew beers for after work, which we did. Again, being in the industry, we know how fun that is for them! FYI-Always appreciate the kitchen...they do cook your food ;-)

Monkey bread french toast, italian french toast with gelato, bacon is perfect, steak and eggs great. Frites fries delicious. Small casual wine bar feel. Just went for breakfast but lunch menu looked great as well. Will be back for sure.

Will never go back. Service was lousy! My friend ordered the fruit and yogart parfait, the waiter said he didn't think they had it. He left and it took a while to return. He didn't offer an apology, just said they were out of yogart. Either he was hung over or on something, he couldn't even walk - he shuffled. I ordered an omelet. It came swimming in butter, I had to ask for salt and pepper and our waiter seemed put off by that request. I only took 2 bites of my meal and the waiter never came to see how things were, otherwise I would have sent my meal back or asked for a paper napkin to wipe away the excess butter. When he came to clear the table, he didn't bother to ask if something was wrong with my meal, by that point I wasn't hungry as I was too ticked off.

Local bistro what a blast!!!!. Had a terrific dinner & drinks with friends,loved the olives,pasta,pizzas,everything!! all had the best time!!!

Awful owner. I was so excited to try this place because it is close to where I live and everywhere I do enjoy tends to be in Downtown Phoenix area. Started off with the mussels and clams appetizer then the prosciutto pizza. My friend and I shared everything, but the mussels and clams were a little too fishy and sandy so we sent it back. I figured maybe they were just having a bad night, it happens. Well the owner, German Osio, came over to us in a confrontational manner with the order form that showed the seafood had came in today and was fresh. We froze, we tried to tell him what was wrong and it was not a big deal, we would try another appetizer, but was horrified and embarrassed by not only how we were treated but how he acted. I was not looking for an apology or explanation but nor was I looking to be reprimanded in public. He made it clear that it was our problem that we did not enjoy the appetizer not his. After that the pizza came out which by that time we lost our appetite and took it to go. The waiting staff was extremely nice and our waitress kept apologizing while German Osio failed to acknowledge us after he said what he wanted to say. I had high hopes and I am not trying to slander his name but that is no way to behave. If you are not sure where to go after this review, try 'Pomo Pizzeria Napoletana, Cibo, The Parlor, Hanny's, or Postino's worth the drive for better treatment and an enjoyable experience.
