Very classy contemporary atmosphere at this Old Town Scottsdale Restaurant. The menu is interesting and the food is delicious and well presented. We say at the bar and had some marvelous wine with our meal. The staff was attentive and friendly. I will make a point of coming back to try more of their menu items.
Not much to look at but lighting gives it a nice ambiance. Warmly greeted, all staff were professional and very nice. Our waiter Nick, was awesome, impressed he never wrote down an order, took multiple order from multiple tables, great memory. He was very knowledgable about the menu and ingredients. Legume and spinach soup was awesome.
My husband had Rigatoni giradino, with chicken, he said it was awesome. I had lemon grilled shrimp and lobster ravioli wth grilled vegetables and it was all delicious, especially the sauces. They gave us chest violate mousse cake on the house for our anniversary.
Beautiful Mid Century Modern Restaurant. We had the Lasagna which was the best we've had ever in a restaurant. The fresh baked hot bread with the crispy crust was delicious. This will be on top of our list for both Lunch and Dinner.
Filet mignon with polenta and asparagus was amazing, cooked to perfection. The lobster cioppino was "the best I have ever had," according to my husband. Definitely returning when we are in the area.
Excellent for, wine list and the service was particularly excellent. Give it a try you will not be sorry.
Pasta was really well prepared and the seared tuna salad was very good.
Everything about this restaurant was fabulous ! Far superior service and complete class. Delicious appetizers - salad main course !! The side of vegetable medley with Italian flare was so mouth watering tasty. Ok and the Limonchello Sorbet was amazing and the perfect ending to the meal experience !
The food is fantastic, the service was on point. I will be back and I'm bringing more friends!
This is our go to place when we are in the mood for Pasta Bolognese. Did not disappoint.
First time in Scottsdale. They were super friendly, had a laid back atmosphere, and over all fantastic! The food was delicious too.
Very Delicious Food beautiful atmosphere and wonderful friendly staff 👏👏👏
Without a doubt, one of the best happy hour values in Scottsdale. Fantastic variety and quality. We dine here as well and the chef never fails to satisfy with his culinary creations. The staff is always very attentive and pleasant making it an enjoyable place to go.
Excellent food, atmosphere and service. Will highly recommend this restaurant.
Lindsey was great! From the moment we walked in everyone was very professional! Food was outstanding and it was difficult to decide on an entree because of the amazing selections. Outdoor patio looked inviting....parking lot was full but once you pull in you can’t get out so you have to back out?
The food and service is always excellent. The owners and wait staff make you feel welcomed.
I got the Hazelnut Risotto, and my boyfriend got the lasagna. Second best risotto I’ve had in my life (first place goes to a restaurant in Switzerland) , even better than the risotto I had in Italy. The atmosphere was good, very modern feeling. I give the service a 4 star only because I don’t think it shouldn’t have taken our server as long as it did to ask for our food order with the amount people there (it was a Wednesday night and the restaurant was maybe 1/4 full).
Thanksgiving Dinner, the fabulous menu was without a doubt superb! The atmosphere of this restaurant is just perfect. We really enjoyed our dinner together and definitely want to make it again soon!
Highly recommend Tommy vs. The food was phenomenal and the service was outstanding. Highly recommend the braised short rib if you get a chance. If you’re looking for a nice quiet place to take a date night, look no further. The only critique I have is the old fashioned I ordered had too much ice in it.
1st time. Had a big group. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. Great wine (pic attched). Had the hazelnut mushroom risotto. Delish. Highly recommend. The tiramisu and the cheese cake tasty. Chocolate cake is a bit too rich for me...definitely chocolately.
I spent a week in Scottsdale for vacation and my dinner here was the highlight of my trip. The staff were a pleasure to talk with, and my food was phenomenal. I had a Manhattan, a house salad, shrimp risotto, and lemon cake for dessert. I normally don't care for olives, but the ones on this salad weren't too salty. For the shrimp risotto, I was dragging the fork out of my mouth in slow motion because I didn't want it to be over. Definitely worth a trip if you're in Old Town.
A little disappointed with the service. Our server on the patio never checked on us after we received our meal. At the end of the meal he dropped the bill off without saying a word.
The meal (strawberry salad - refreshing; Mahi Mahi over Mushroom risotto - could use a little more seasoning) was good, however.
Lively scene.
First time here. I ordered a dish marked GF indicating it was gluten free. The dish came and it looked wonderful. A few bites in I can tell the dish had gluten. It was very disappointing because the dish tasted fantastic. After sending it back the chef came out to apologize and offered to redo the dish. I declined. He also rechecked the menu and realized that the dish was marked GF in error. In the end they took my dish off the bill and gave my husband free cheesecake. I would try this again for sure.
I had the pleasure of hosting a birthday party for my wife for 30 guests. Zoran and his amazing staff worked tirelessly throughout the evening to help make it memorable. And the food was the highlight of the evening! The short ribs were incredibly tender and the salmon was delicious. I highly recommend Tommy V's if you are searching for great Italian food and wonderful service! The picture shows the nice set-up with the delicious antipasto board.
The food was superb! The mussels were amazing and so was the calimari😍 Everything was so delicious. We were a party of 11 and everyone loved everything they ordered!
I grew up in a NJ town with amazing Italian-American chefs, so admittedly I am a bit picky when trying new Italian places in our adopted home of AZ. 18 years in AZ, we've found several every bit as good as those I recall in the east.
Tommy V's attracted us from its menu, reviews, and location when we were looking for a place to have a special dinner with good (Italian-American) friends who were visiting and staying in the vicinity.
I would say food, service, atmosphere were all average/good. But that's also where my concerns lie, because as one of the better rated Italian restaurants in Old Town area, our party of 6 found nothing great.
As the host, I was disappointed that we chose Tommy V's when perhaps if I wasn't so location focused I could have brought them to a better alternative 15-20 mins away.
I hope we caught them on an off night and other's rosy reviews are founded. In the mean time, a 4* review, and we’ll likely be looking elsewhere for our next special dinner.
