Siam House - Scotch Plains - Photo album

Sadly, what was once my favorite Thai restaurant has now been officially crossed of my list. Over the years the quality declined but I continued going hoping for better quality. Tonight I stopped by the quiet and empty restaurant at 7:30pm and ordered take out for my family. When I got home and took
Order was wrong after repeating it many times and having it read back to me correctly. Prices are outrageous, and have to pay extra for rice when you get a curry? Which is supposed to always come with rice. Prices were outrageous for the amount and type of food. Fried tofu tasted stale also. Not eve
HORRIBLE! The chicken in the red curry and pad thai were these small shavings of tough and dry meat. The grilled shrimp was so over cooked that it was like eating the sole of a shoe. $90 for inedible food. The first and LAST time I ever order from here. Before Siam House responds with some snarky
Over priced and not impressed. The portion sizes are average but the prices are steep. I left with indigestion and disappointment. The dumpling appetizer was really bad. They don't have a kids menu, in case you need one. Just go to the Sushi place next door. You'll be glad you did.
This was my first encounter with Thai food, and I couldn't have had a better experience. Everything we ordered was just bursting with flavor. I wanted more and more. I could not get enough. I'll be back soon and often.
The WORST Thai restaurant so have visited in my life - and I am a Thai food lover. Stale smell and my packed thai red curry had a small cockroach in it. Yechhhh. I feel sick thinking of that food. I was sick that day. My son complained and got a sorry and a refund but I wonder if they did anyth
The food is decent - far from "shockingly inedible." I've been a few times, and it's always quiet, which makes the Kenny G playlist a bit annoying. Portions are normal, curries are a bit sweet but better than the next closest place.
These guys charge for food like some fully high-end restaurant !! Thats not it, whatever you say in the food they will charge extra bucks for everything.. I ordered drunken noodles with tofu instead of chicken.. guess what there was $1 extra for tofu.. same thing for curry.. this is 1st thai restaur
