So many flavors of ice cream. I will have to go many more times to try them. Hot fudge shake is awesome. They have an area outside to enjoy your ice cream. Very nice place with great customer service. Worth driving from Kalamazoo to enjoy it.
Such a lovely small town ice cream shop!! A large variety of delicious flavors and toppings! The employees were some of the kindest I have ever seen; super respectful, hardworking, and polite! I was pleased with their prices as well. I will be telling my friends to go to the Big Dipper!
Excellent little ice cream shop. Employees were kind, attentive, and helpful! They were chatting with the young kiddos who came in from a sports game while serving them ice cream, asking how their game went. Really sweet to see. Ice cream was yummy, too!
The daughter of the owner assisted my husband and myself. Each of us ordered a malt. The young lady was a sweetheart. Didn't take long at all for our order. She has a jar she is saving for college. Help a girl out. If we travel through here again we will definitely stop for another taste.

Awesome seasonal ice cream place! I'm not sure if they still have them but they also used to have amazing pizza burgers! Looking forward to them re-opening in spring.
I love this place, the ice cream is top quality.
I've never ordered food. The hours listed on Google maps aren't always accurate. The hours vary seasonally. Shop is closed for the Winter. Early spring it is only open on weekends, etc. They keep changes posted on a board easily visible from the road.
My little brother used to live right up the road. He moved closer to Kalamazoo, but we still drove over for their ice cream. Just a great place.
Nice little ice cream shop in the center of Schoolcraft. Decent selection of ice cream and friendly staff. Plenty of parking space and outdoor seating for families and larger groups.
This place is nostalgic to me. Has been in business since I was a child, 44 year's later and still serving. The big Dipper is a favorite place to go for all young and old. It does need a remodel and parking lot revamp but all in all clean, friendly and convenient.
Soft serve and hand scooped, shakes, sundaes galore. This is your typical small town icecream shop and priced very well. We try and go here every sunday, oh wait, that's today. Hunny pack up the kids!!
The Big Dipper had a amazing young lady serving the ice cream or Sundays whatever you had ordered nice cool place clean it was a wonderful experience looking forward to going back
This is the place the kids always beg to stop at while driving through Schoolcraft. Great place for hard dip and softserve ice cream. I appreciate the dated look inside but outside need more umbrellas at the tables.
They have blue moon and superman ice cream. Do I need to say more? The best! We visit every summer when we're in town.
