Over the weekend it was my first time going out to eat at this restaurant. I have to say after the price we paid for brunch and the condition of the restaurant we won’t be returning. The restaurant was filthy. I also don’t expect a McDonald’s priced meal but I would’ve expected to be charged properly instead of being over charged. We left smelling like grease, they charged us for the containers which is fine IF WE WERE TOLD ahead of time. Also wasn’t aware that we needed to specify that we wanted our children’s food from the kids menu. They are young they aren’t 15 years old so it should’ve been obvious. But nope they got all huge meals & we were charged over $9 for bacon that was suppose to be included in the CHILDRENS meal. I’m not one to make reviews after every restaurant but this one needed it. Not to mention the two gentlemen waiters being rude to the other waitress in front of everyone.

The sandwich I ordered was good, but I had to pay $1.00 more for homemade potato hips, which first were burnt and the greasy and floppy. When I expressed my disgust, they were taken away and taken off my bill.
It used to be a nice eating alternative, not any more.

We had my Mom 's 80th Birthday dinner there and it was a great time. It was more than my Mom could of even expected the night to be. Thanks to Lorenzo 's for the opportunity to make the night a surprise and an awesome one.

Delicious food, great service... charging me .50 for a take away container is petty, I won't be returning.
Do they also charge .50 per take out? Delivery?
* Lame excuse from the owner below so I emoved 2 stars- - your prices are no different than anyone else. Take away containers are "the cost of doing business". Are you going to charge per napkin and straw next? Again, you've lost my business indefinitely*
Place is also filthy, as noted in other reviews. (Renting a commercial lease means YOU UPDATE THE UNIT. Demonizing your landlord for your greasy restaurant is as rediculous as charging for containers).
Whoever is running these reviews has no clue how to operate a commercial business.

Love Lorenzo's! We eat breakfast there once a week. Waiter Ray makes it extra special. He's one of the best waitstaff I've ever experienced. Has our coffee in hand as we walk through the door. It's like Cheers, only with delicious food and a real community feel.

This is the second year we have used Lorenzos to cater our holiday office party for 40 people. We are a state agency in downtown Albany and they have been more than accommodating each year! The food is EXCELLENT. Considering the food is coming from Schenectady to downtown Albany and it is still piping hot is just amazing. The pulled pork, chicken parm and penne with vodka sauce are the office favorites and a must have each year. The chicken is so tender. Everyone loves the food. I highly recommend their catering services. They go above and beyond your expectations. You will not be disappointed! Looking forward to order from them again!
Edit: I forgot to mention, we have an employee with many food allergies and they accommodated us with a custom order just for her. Again, I cannot stress enough how much we love Lorenzos!

So the office I work in has been ordering from the Blue Ribbon for a long time mainly because it's right near us. When they raised the prices they came to us personally and said we would get a 10% discount because of our patronage. On Friday 8/19/2016 we ordered our usual breakfast and was charged $32.00. Our order was...2 orders of... 2 eggs, double order of bacon and the usual fixin's that come with. So today we said lets try Lorenzo's and see how they do....we ordered french toast one with sausage one with bacon.....Lorenzo's has new customers!!! the price was great and the food was awesome (butter for the french toast would be great :-)..) All in all we were very happy and we will be calling again.

Lorenzo's was awesome. They had great food, great service, and a great owner. The owner himself cooked in the restraint. It seemed old fashion to me like there was regular costumers. We need ore restraunts like this in Schenectady.

I planned the Rotterdam Boys & Girls Club Swim Team banquet at Lorenzo's and it was perfect!! The food was great, the hospitality was great and the kids had a great time! We will definitely plan something again!! Thank You!
