Union Pizza

Phenomenal experience!!! I was at the hospital visiting a relative. We were hungry. The nurse recommended Union Pizza and stated she and the staff order from there daily. Wow are they busy on a Friday night! I walked into a line of people waiting and was still acknowledged with a smile. I asked the 2 girls at the counter what their favorite thing on the menu was, (pretty sure they were sisters) they both said pizza. The one girl said her favorite was the steak sandwich but to get the full experience she suggested getting it how it comes. I ordered the 8 cut cheese and large steak sandwich. OH MY YUM!!! They told me 20 minutes, had my food in hand in 15!! I couldn’t believe how fast they were considering how busy it was. The whole staff was in sync, food was delicious and cleanest kitchen I’ve ever seen!!! I live 30 minutes away but I will definitely go out of my way for Union Pizza!! Highly recommend!!

I had the best pizza and wings from here. Top notch staff from the minute I called to place my order. The really tall delivery driver was so nice and funny, he even made my grandma laugh, she never smiles!! Such a nice treat considering most places have miserable people who hate their jobs. I highly recommend ordering from here.

If I could rate it ZERO stars I would. This WOULD have been my first time ordering from this place but I canceled my order. It started with placing my order- a 6 cut and order of wings. The young lady on the phone said they had no more 6 cut pizzas did I want an 8. I said I only wanted to do that if they would sell it for the 6 cut price (because why am I paying you extra for something i didn't ask for). She hung up the phone. I called assuming it wasn't intentional. Explained I thought we got disconnected and she asked me for my order over again. I again asked about the pizza and she said hold on. A less than 3 second hold and she says "no we can't do that." I explain that I didn't agree to being forced to a larger pizza at a higher price, explained I was a first time customer and wouldn't be interested in supporting a business At All that can't accommodate it's customers when it doesn't properly prepare for the demands of its day. She hung up. Very well. You lost a potential customer. Poor business practice.

Typically I love union pizza, we order from here just about once a week and have been doing so for the past few months. Today in the middle of a snow storm I ordered a 12 cut pizza to pickup while I was out working for my tow company that I own H&K towing. Unfortunately after ordering we became significantly busy for a bit and had a handful of accidents to take care of. It took me about 90 minutes to get there. I was never called to see if I was still coming or anything they simply sold my pizza to someone else which I understand given the timeframe but instead offering to make another they sold me an 8 cut for the price of a 12 cut and when I was trying to explain I was ignored for the next person who walked in the door.

Wow, I mean wow! This place is great. The wings were amazing (we get them naked), and the pizza (white garlic thin crust with chicken, ricotta, and black olives) was perfect. I have been trying to find a nice homestyle pizza place in Schenectady for years. This place is it. We are totally going here for now on.
