Cornells In Little Italy

I would give them 6 stars. Meal was beyond delicious. They are a cut above. We lucked out and happened to try Cornell's under new ownership and they did not disappoint. Since it was date night Thursday we could get a 6 course dinner for two! The cauliflower steak was absolutely amazing. Kudos to the chef, and our waiter Noah who did a great job!

We had a reservation at 2 after our sons graduation. We arrived right at 2 and they seated us promptly. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, from the hostess to our waitress and the nice young lady who kept filling up our waters and the nice young man who brought us our food. We haven’t experienced such great service in a long time from a restaurant due to staff shortages. It really made our experience very enjoyable. And to top it off our food was delicious. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Disappointing. Visited there on Sunday, first visit since Perreca's took over the restaurant. Dining room very comfortable and tastefully decorated. A little background music would enhance the atmosphere. Ordered Veal Parmigiana and Eggplant Parmigiana, two simple dishes in any Italian restaurant. Could not determine how well they were prepared because they were covered in a huge amount of sauce so you really couldn't taste anything but the sauce that had soaked through everything. My side of linguine was overcooked and, again covered in sauce and about a half cup of water at the bottom of the plate that I had to pour out before tasting it. I actually liked the flavor of the sauce but it was too much of a good thing. Service was fine. I would like to visit them again, but not on a Sunday.

We had a reservation for 4:30 and we’re not served until 5:55. We were not that hungry, so it was not a big deal. Waiter was friendly. Nice atmosphere. Calamari appetizer was delicious. I had the chicken Milanese. I have to concur with another guest who ordered the same dish. Rather dry and not enough sauce. My husband had a shrimp dish that he enjoyed. When we paid, I was surprised to see a credit card surcharge of $4.00. . I know some restaurants do this, but there was no notice that this was the policy at this restaurant.

Food was good. Went Friday during restaurant week (& Lent) but the "special" menu did not have a fish on it. Had to ask multiple times, different staff if we could order off reg menu & were finally given a menu (but our server did not give us the dinner specials that we overheard being given to another table) Multiple asks for a beverage straw. It was early in the evening so not yet crowded so not sure why the server was "off". All in all, Food 4*, Service 2.5*

Went there for dinner. The waiter was very nice. The two older ladies who where seating people . They where very rude didn't even smile, I felt like we where bothering them. The food was okay portion size sucked and asparagus was hard. Not happy ! Unfortunately the hostess with the black hair didn't have a mask on. So I did see her facial expressions. She was RUDE!!!!!
