This is my most favorite Indian restaurant in the area. The food is awesome and the owners go all their way out to make sure that you are taken care of (it’s a family owned restaurant). They have maintained their quality and customer service over the years. If you haven’t been here ever, I would definitely recommend them highly!!

True taste and best service. I craved long for butter naan and veggies and then I found this place to relish authentic taste. Now I go repeatedly. Modest ambiance with courteous mom and son serving food and taking of each item served at table. Quick service and no frills. Portion are adequate per serving and pricing is good. They are best in all aspects of family dining or treat to your stomach.

I have been eating here for over 10 years.
The experience has changed during that time for the better.
I can say that this family owned place has some of the best Indian food, it is what they do and only do. I dislike a restaurant that is trying to serve every taste. They do Indian well!
Raul the son and his mom are hard working customer caring people.
Give them a try for you want be sorry.
They don’t sell on price so if your looking for fast food prices your not gonna find it here.
But you will find great food at a fair price.

After having been a huge fan of Indian food for going on thirty years and having enjoyed it on three continents and in cities across America, I say without apprehension that this is consistently the best Indian food I’ve ever had. My whole family literally cheers with excitement when I bring up ordering from here. Seriously.
Their flavors are exquisite and every dish is cooked to perfection, no mushy vegetables or dry meats that I’ve experienced at other Indian restaurants.
Beyond the food, the customer service is top notch. The staff have always been very friendly and attentive and they remembered who I was six months after last having dined in (I usually order carry out).
Highly recommend. If I could give them six stars I would!

Initially I thought it was a bad decision to go here literally empty stomach because wait time was really long after we got the table. But may be it was a weekend or they were short of servers anyway I guess the wait was worth. Food was nice and delicious, decent and average quantity. Note: rice doesn't come with the dish, so yea that's extra.
Our server was very warm and informative, we wanted something custom and he accommodated us well.
Tried Dal Makhni, fried rice, chicken karahi!

I’ve eaten at New Delhi numerous times and everything I’ve ever ordered has been delicious. The service is wonderful and the employees are very friendly - I even left my wallet at the restaurant one night and they kept it (and its contents) safe until I could pick it up. New Delhi’s food is up there with some of the best Indian food I’ve had, and I’ve had a decent amount. I would recommend New Delhi to anyone.

I’ve never had Indian food before and wasn’t sure what to expect. The waiter that seated us actually took the time to explain how to order and what he recommended. It was an amazing experience and all the food was phenomenal. I will definitely be coming back and recommend it to everyone.

Went along with family and friends. Ambiance is okay. Food was average. Ordered dal makkhani and surprisingly it was way more delicious than expected and also ordered Methi Paneer on staff recommendation it was good. Felt quantity is less compared to price. Good for take away. Old restaurant need improvement in service and quantity.

Visited once with family , one of the best restaurant for Indian selection of food in Schaumburg.

If you really like the Indian must try..

Good food nice service.

cheers ..

This restaurant, by far leaps and bounds, other indian restaurants around the area. I visited last night and can't believe I skipped out on it. On the outside it looks like a hole in the wall , but walk in and it's pretty big and the atmosphere here is beautiful . But for me , the food is the main part. Everything was great here , my wife and I cleaned our plates.
The quantity was decent, but the quality was nothing less then perfection.
Another thing I really liked is , the fact they have a very kind staff. I asked for Rita ( yogurt) to have with my meal and they didn't even charge me. Almost every indian, Chinese and Mexican restaurant I go to charge you for a small dab of anything you want. But New Delhi also offered us desserts to wrap up the lovely evening.

BEST INDIAN FOOD IN SCHAMBURG. Its a small hole in the wall but beautiful on the inside .. but that does not matter to me because the food has been the best i have had and i have been born and raised in New york. I have had a lot of indian food but finding this restaurant makes me a happier person knowing there very clean fresh and have outstanding hospitality. I ordered two days in a row and they gave a dessert on the house both times!! They have been serving the community for more than 21 years now and I'm not surprised because the food lis that good !! only one complaint isthat it can take some time for carry out.. which is worth the wait ,but also the service can be slow when they are packed.

Best indian restaurant. This place has to be the best Restaurant in schaumburg. this place is so good once you try it you will never eat anywhere else for indian food. went to many high end places for indian restaurants and even more expensive for example Gaylord or bombay chop sticks.but they cant compete when it comes to taste and flavor. i have been a going here since 2001. let me tell you these people have experience when it comes to food they have been open for more than 14 years.

Too bad.... This place is a shadow of its former self. The food here is bland and the lunch buffet is a tragedy.

I can't see myself ever going back.

They offer a lunch buffet seems to be the best option. The tandoori chicken isn't very flavorful or spicy so it was a slight disapointment better food an service at other Indian resturants in the area.
Chicagocafefan
Perfect spice. Love the way they spice their dishes here, very fragrant but the smell and taste is not very overpowering. dishes are not very greasy too and the serving sizes are also adequate. place is okay, clean and relaxed enough. staff is friendly and i like the fact that they don't seem to make you rush about choosing what to order.
