Scappoose Bagel

Nice, quiet, relaxing place. The food was good and the people were friendly. They were available if you needed something but not checking so often that you can't have a conversation. It was a great place to meet a friend for coffee and bagel while you catch up. Not a lot of distractions. The music was good but low enough you could have a conversation, just white noise, really. As a social worker, I am always looking for places like this to meet up with clients. It isn't usually crowded but that had many benefits. Several people came in and took orders to go.

I love Scappoose Bagel, their food is delicious, and always quick and warm. My only critique is that they are consistently bad at communicating their hours. It’s not posted anywhere when they are closed on holidays. I’ve come multiple times on days where I assume they’ve closed early for inventory purposes and the door is just locked and everyone stares at you from inside. I’d suggest at least putting a sign on the door. Again, the food is always excellent, best bagels and cream cheese I’ve found.

Super rude staff on Saturday, March 19th. Yeah, it's my first time coming in so I'm not going to know what I want right away. When asking 'what kind of cream cheese do you all have?' and the guy telling me 'its right in front of your face...' I felt like I wasn't wanted there. Therefore, I will not be back! It's a shame because the food was good.

I am just saying, I saw a breakfast bagel stacked sky high and looked amazing being made, while I ordered 2 plain bagels and some cookies for my grandsons, & I must say, if I hadn't already eaten breakfast, I would have ordered one of those!! It looked AMAZING!! Super nice employees too!! Very nice experience, and I am just visiting from Spokane Washington. Thank you Scappoose Bagel!!
