Casual and relaxing patio for dining, even in the heat. Really friendly service and pretty good food. The pizza was better than expected for a non-pizza place. The burger and ribeye sandwich were also enjoyed. The potato salad was unique - we liked it! The chicken salad was good, but since it’s dry (not a problem - it’s nice to have it not drowning in mayo), it was too dry to eat with the really dry croissant. Needed some extra lettuce and tomato or something. I assume they buy their croissants from somewhere else and don’t make them, but it’s a dry bread texture not a typical buttery croissant texture. We were too full for the peach cobbler, but if we are ever back in Savannah we will come try it!

I find it interesting that the "Savanah Insiders Guide" that we received at the visitors center did not list this Cafe. Well TOO BAD for the visitors guide. The service was EXCELLENT. With outside dining we were able to have our dog sit with us at the table (Very Pet Friendly) thr Pizza was just the right size for lunch as was the IPA. The grilled cheese / ribeye on Texas Toast is a real STAR. The potato salad is good enough for a true Irishman (we love potatoes and beer). The total with tip was very reasonable for a downtown lunch. So pass on the Visitor Guide commercials and go to the Market Place for a really good meal.

We had a great experience at this busy cafe in City Market. We were seated promptly at an outdoor table and loved all of the people (and dog) watching. We had just left the Prohibition Museum so of course I was ready for a drink and the Peach Sangria hit the spot!. I consider myself a grilled cheese connoisseur, so I tried the steak grilled cheese which had the perfect balance of cheese and rib eye strips. My husband went the healthy route with a salmon salad and said it was "pretty darn good." I do have to brag on the service. I wanted a table outside and the only one available was just being vacated. The hostess jumped in and cleaned it up right away. The server was also cheerful and helpful. We were glad we stopped by!

Great place to walk and enjoy lunch with outdoor patio seating. Servings are big! We shared along adults and had some to spare. We loved the chicken salad and salmon salad.

This was my first visit to The Cafe. The pulled pork sandwich was excellent. For a side, I had upgraded to the side salad. The only downside was the salad was warmer than expected so the lettuce was link but otherwise everything was great.

Service (Tristen) was good from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and the portion was perfect for lunch. We ended the meal with a peach cobbler (it’s enough to share), and it was phenomenal! We would come back again and again.

Loved our dinner here! Cool place with chill vibes and we didn’t have to wait in line on a Friday night. The chicken salad sandwich with potato salad was delicious. The staff is friendly and we had a super nice waitress. Would recommend eating here in Savannah!

This is my favorite restaurant. The shrimp and grits with collard greens is a unique twist to my favorite dish that somehow meshes well together. The only critique that I will give is that depending on the cook, you may be disappointed at times. That dish needs consistency, regardless of who cooks it as people travel far to try it. But overall, the food, peach cobbler and the drinks are really good.

Was ok. We both got the burgers. They put the wife's pimento cheese on my burger, which was medium...hers was supposed to be well done. Burgers had good taste to them though. The 6 dollar upgrade to get a side salad is not worth it for a small pile of greens.

We eat here almost every visit to Savannah. The food is always good, as well as the service. We first ate here almost ten years ago. The menu has changed a bit. Some of the items that brought us here first is no longer available, but they have added some wonderful additions.
