Excellent. With 4 Mexican restaurants to choose from on the islands... I'll say this place is legit. Didn't immediately see beer on the menu, waiter started naming cerveza not domestic (ICE cold, so cold it got frosty when my wife poured it into the cold mug) the food was quick, fresh, tasty and good portions. Real deal authentic in my book. Check it out.

First time I've been to a Mexican restaurant that had a buffet. I tried a little of everything and was impressed with it overall. Particularly the wings. Spicy but exceptionally good flavor. 10 bucks included the drink. You must try this place!

The food and the Margaritas are fabulous!! Jose and his staff are very attentive, they are truly there to serve you!! First and last Mexican restaurant I have had tried since moving here. No need to try the others when you've found the best!!

By far the best Mexican food anywhere around here. You will not be disappointed if you decide to dine at Rio Bravo. The atmosphere is wonderful, some of the friendliest wait staff I've ever encountered at any restaurant and to top it off they have the BEST Mexican food that you'll ever taste. Give them a try... You won't be disappointed ;-)

I have to say, the Manager at Rio Bravo is absolutely awesome! While our whole community was affected by Hurricane Matthew and have lived without power for several days, I decided last night to get my family some tacos for dinner. I went in, placed my order and when the manager brought me the to-go order, he told me to have a good night. I informed him that I hadn't paid for my meal yet and his reply was "next time". This brought tears to my eyes, the kindness of this restaurant.

We have a NEW favorite Mexican restaurant! Service outshines the others and the food was wonderful! The salsa is just awesome and the chips light, fresh and thin and crispy!...and served WARM! I also think it has a more ‘mellow’ and relaxed atmosphere! It’s not so noisy and hectic...as the other place that shall remain unnamed. The ‘beef tips’ quesadilla was AMAZING! Whatever they do to marinate the beef before grilling, it’s perfect! We had a very nice waitress, and the staff actually seem happy! Nice to see!

Love, Love, LOVE this place! We used to frequent the 'other' Mexican restaurant down the road but quickly stopped finding this place! The first time we walked thru the door, it has been friendly and fast service, not like the other place where you have to wait for at least 30 minutes for 2 people to be seated! Jose is the absolute best and we love the fact that when we walk thru door we are treated as though we are part of their family! We go here at least once a week and when we have friends in town we take them here. Prices are phenomenal, service is beyond exceptional and the atmosphere is great! We love Rio Bravo!

When I went to this place I never wait to spent a lot but then see the good food and different kind of appetizers, desserts and drinks I had definitely down to eat more than one dish. My experience was super good here bc I celebrated one special ocation and also I was on "vacay" so I take advantage in this place to try to taste a few of all I tasted the Nachos cheese, quesadillas mixture, mango frozen margheritas and churros with ice cream definitely was a good menu for my requirements to enjoy that night 🌙 the customer service was so good too, I recommend this place definitely 😋 but you must check how you wanna spent in different dishes or drinks, be sure to ask before to order bc some items hasn't price at the menu 😅

Hidden gem on Wilmington Island. Great food and service. Authentic Mexican dishes on the menu didn't disappoint and cant wait to try more. Very large dining area with plenty of booths and tables. Full bar with great bar seating/dining area. Service and staff were great and provided great recommendations. Keep it up. Will definitely be coming back here often. Highly recommend.

We came on Cinco de Mayo so it was busy but I love the restaurant. Location is great, plenty of parking is available, and excellent staff. The drinks were great and they had plenty of a selection on alcohol.

This place is amazing! Food was out in less than 10 minutes and it was delicious. The server asked multiple times about refills/extra beers. Even offered us a shot of tequila on the house before we left! We will absolutely be coming back here again. Fantastic hospitality.

I came here at 11:30 a.m. on a Saturday and was surprised to find myself alone in the restaurant. I saw online that they had a lunch buffet which I've never seen for a Mexican restaurant so I was very interested. Upon entrance the service was very quick to seat me and I chose the buffet option that was $15 and the food was very flavorful. They have options to make your own soft taco, hard taco, or taco bowl amongst other things. I don't know how I was the only one there!
