although we sat at a table vs the bar, bartender was very attentive. she was knowledgeable and mixed us some excellent cocktails

Francis, our bartender, was Amazing! He makes a great old fashion, and I ordered a specialty cocktail called Old Summer reckoning... delish. We had great conversations, and he was fun to be around. Definitely stop by for drinks. The ambiance is cool also. We will absolutely visit every time we are in town!

The cocktails are definitely the draw here and they are worth it. The sandwiches on the menu were excellent. Not an entree place. Nice patio facing Liberty St. And usually live music.

Excellent, low-ley experience at Proof and Provision. The bar staff were very knowledgeable about their cocktail menu. The food was also excellent! Had the Thai Chicken Burger and the Caesar Salad. So glad that was the first time eating all day as the portions were more than adequate.

Excellent customer service ! Great little restaurant on the first floor of the hotel we are staying at (The Desoto).
Fish and chips were good, the cheese plate was pretty impressive and paired with a strawberry purée (don’t knock it until you try it). The ice tea was excellent ! Wonderful live music as well .

Menu was limited for our taste but selected 3 things and some cocktails.
Corn on the cob: could have been hotter in temperature but the flavor combo of th cotija cheese and parmasean was very complimentary and just plain good
Hot brown: if ya never had one this is a very good riff on the traditional out of Louisville
Fried chicken over Mac and cheese...definitely the highlight. Chicken was cooked perfectly and the butter was made with care
Drinks: Edgar's cup was a awesomely conceived and executed cocktail. Earl grey is always a great and surprising flavor in cocktails
Desserts....go elsewhere....the peach pie lacked any kind of flavor and it was served COLD like right out of the fridge. Other guests next to us felt the exact same way....it was a lower not a winner. The cinnamon roll bread pudding was microwaved awful mess. The microwave did its thing to bread as only 15 yo would know. And to top ot off (pardon the pun) the Caramel sauce was burnt. Nothing worse than the flavor of burnt butter.

The drinks and food are great! We ordered the fried green tomatoes (only picture I took), Caesar salad with chicken, the burger with fries, old fashioned and a beer. The staff were very friendly!

This was the first time my husband and I have been to Proof & Provision. We were early so we could choose where we wanted to sit on the patio overlooking beautiful Liberty Street. We enjoyed some cocktails and had a couple of appetizers because we weren't hungry enough to eat entrees. We had the roasted brussel sprouts which was amazing they were crispy and had a tomato sweet compote and goat cheese on it, it was amazing. We had a barbecue chicken flatbread also which was bursting with flavor, thin and crispy. I recommend going here especially to sit outside and look at the famous Liberty Street. And in the evenings they have a live guitarist which was very pleasant.

What a great find! Stopped in for lunch and Madison was amazing! We had a few custom cocktails and she recommended some whiskeys to my husband and he was very pleased. She was great with our service dog and our lunch was delicious. We had the olives for starters the salad and poutine for the mains. So well prepared. We are on on Savannah for a few days but might sneak back here if it's in our path. Thanks for such a nice experience.
