Very expensive, a bit of a novelty, but it was good. Not sure how many times we'll go back; glad to have had the experience though. Our waitress was sweet as pie.
Come hungry...leave with a full tummy!. My husband and I live in Savannah and love fondu, so we were excited to find The Melting Pot so close to home. We made reservations for a late dinner and night out and had a great experience! All of the staff were so hospitable, especially our waitress who was personable and attentive. The space is very private, cozy, and romantic! Each course was delicious, there wasn't anything we didn't enjoy. The dessert was by far the best part of the night, so many yummy options to choose from! The cost is worth the amount and quality of food you get! We will definitely be making more reservations for a date night out!
Made for a fun evening with my husband. But if we do it again, we will go for the cheese appetizer and a dessert - skip the entree. I can braise raw meat in chicken stock at home! Glad we experienced the whole meal, but once is enough.
Fun night out!!!. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed The Melting Pot... the food was good...especially the chocolate dessert! Mostly, though the experience was unique and made for such a fun date... I called on a very busy weekend night at about five o'clock not thinking we would even be able to get in that night...and they got us in at 8:15! They were great...our server was Quinnie...she was very helpful and attentive! I would definitely go again! Oh and be sure to try the Red Sangria...it was amazing :)
Started Bad....Ended Great!. My wife and I, and another couple went to The Melting Pot recently on a Saturday night. I originally made reservations on Friday and requested that we have a table with two burners. I was told that they would do their best to accomodate our request, but that they could not promise me anything. They acted like they would be doing me a favor if they provided me with this request. I was told that the two burner tables were for parties of five or more. I explained to them that both couples eat different cheeses and use different cooking styles, thus requiring the two burners. I was amazed that I was even having to have this conversation, due to the fact that I have eaten at Melting Pots in a half a dozen other cities, and never had to have this discussion. Needless to say, I arrived on Saturday night with a bad taste in my mouth. My wife reminded the hostess of our request and she was very polite and immediately sat us at a two burner table near the bar. Our server arrived at the table immediately to take our drink orders, and everything was exceptional from there on out.
Lots of fun. Great place for a special night out. Really adds up, so be prepared for that. Cheese portion was great and well-proportioned. The spinach-mushroom salad was excellent. The entree was fine, but a little too annoying to track how long to cook everything. The dessert was unbelievable, but can you ever go wrong with a melted pot of chocolate with dippers that are desserts in their own right? Gluttonous to the highest degree. Next time, I'll pass up the entree and go straight to dessert!
Loved It!. My husband and I visited the Melting Pot to celebrate our birthdays. The food and atmosphere were fabulous and the service was excellent. We were sat at a private booth that provided for a romantic, intimate dining experience. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and explained the cooking times, etc in great detail. One of the co-owners even stopped to check on our meal and service. This was one of the best meals we have eaten! Everything from the salad to the meats to the chocolate was fabulous! Highly recommend to everyone!
Very Accomodating and Great Ladies Night Out!. My two friends and I were lucky to get a late reservation for the Melting Pot's Girls Night Out last night and we had a wonderful time! Our reservations were very late but they still made us feel very welcome. The manager overheard us being EXTREMELY indecisive about what cheese to get and offered to move us to a bigger table so that we could get two different cheeses. What a way to start off! Our waiter's name was Graysen and he was just so sweet. He was extremely patient and almost overattentive. We could hardly believe he was a brand new server! Just such a wonderful restaurant for a good conversational night out. We will definitely be back next month for their Ladies Night Out!
Best Valentine's Night Ever. My husband and I were lucky enough to get a table this past Saturday night as they were extremely busy and we had no reservation. The hostesses were very friendly and right off the bat assured us they were working on accommodating us. Our waitress was Lauren and she was just great! Brought food to us always at the right time and was just very personable and friendly. We had a lovely bottle of their Kendall-Jackson Grand Reserve. We met the owner Jason, who actually stopped by several times to see that we were having the perfect night. All in all, it was just a fantastic evening and we will be sure to visit next time we are in town.
Best Valentine's Day Ever. For valentine's day, my boyfriend wanted to take me to the Melting Pot, after hearing so many good things about it. When we looked online at the menu, I was hesitant about going because of the price for the fixed menu. But I am oh so glad that he talked me into going. The service was great, the food was amazing! Our waitress was so nice and friendly and it was an unforgettable experience. I plan to go back in the future
Parents Night Out!. My husband and I love fondue and have have eaten 3 different Melting Pot's around the country. I can honestly say the Savannah Melting Pot topped them all. We were visiting family in town and my husband and I decided to have a date night, while my inl-aws watched the children. We were seated promptly in a booth set for two. On our table was a rose from my husband, which started the evening off perfectly. We ordered what they call the Big Night Out, changing it up a little to suit our tastes. There was plenty to eat, but we made sure we saved room for there famous Flaming Turtle for dessert! The evening was filed with delicious food, conversation, excellent service and a fabulous dessert. With two small children at home it was great to sit down for a meal that was not rushed, but instead relaxing as well as entertaining! Thank you for a great date night, we WILL be back!
Great Family Dinner!. My wife and I are avid diners and she recently encouraged me to start writing on Urbanspoon because this is how we hear of many of the restaurants that we go to. My reviews are typically brief but I am not sure how it would be possible to write a "brief" review of the Melting Pot. First of all, I have dined at many Melting Pot's in the past but none have quite compared to our experience at the new Savannah location. Having family in town for the holidays, my wife wanted a break from cooking and made a reservation for 12 on a busy weekend night. We arrived a bit early for our reservation time but were fortunately sat within just a few minutes. The hostesses were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Just as our friends and family were beginning to become overwhelmed with the menu our server, Loren, was there to answer all of our questions. We mentioned that we had had some appetizers not too long beforehand so Loren recommended that 3 of their Big Night Out selections would surely satisfy everyone's appetite and that we would all receive the full Melting Pot experience. It is so rare that a server is honest about the portions and actually tries to save you some money. We appreciated this more than anything because her recommendations were plentiful and extremely reasonably priced. The cheese was fantastic and she made sure to keep extra bead and whatnot flowing. There was a bit of a back up at the bar, and both Loren and the owner were extremely apologetic and accommodating. Make sure to clear your schedule for a few hours if you plan on dining here and keep in mind that each course is brought out at the pace that you are eating. You simply cannot have your entree while you are still on your appetizer. It seems that some diners may overlook this. Overall, we had an exceptional evening and will surely return again.
Loved It!. We had a party of eight for dinner. We had called and spoke to a friendly hostess for our reservation. Upon our arrival, we were met by a lovely hostess and shown to our table. We were concerned about having a larger than normal party, but our seating accommodations were perfect. They actually have an area where they remove a discreet wall, bringing an area together that seats eight or ten very comfortably. They also have some other rooms that accommodate larger parties. Sam was our waiter and he was fantastic! We were completely blown away with the menu, it offered so much variety. Sam helped us to determine what we wanted and then he took care of everything. We never had to ask for refills or additional side items, he always anticipated and fulfilled our every want before we could ask for it. The entire evening was incredible and relaxing, we never felt rushed. My suggestion to anyone would be give this restaurant a try, you will not be disappointed. This is fine dining at its best- Savannah is lucky to have The Melting Pot. Please have a Love Martini and the Disaronno Meltdown dessert for me!
Great Ladies Night!. I came here with 6 friends on Monday for Ladies Night...it was surprisingly the first time that they've done ladies night at this Melting Pot and it was fantastic! A friend of mine suggested getting a group of girls together (many of whom didn't know each other), and this gave us a great opportunity to get to know one another. Lauren was our server and was wonderful! She actually helped sparked some conversation amongst all of us and gave us things to talk about.
The concept of Ladies Night is a great deal...$22 included plenty of cheese, a great salad, and PLENTY of chocolate for dessert. None of us could believe when the owner actually came over to see how we were doing and offered us a free martini that was out of this world!
We will definitely be back!
Great Idea....Great Night...Great Food. I wanted something different. I wanted good food and great atmosphere. I wanted 3 hours to eat, drink, talk, and geniunely enjoy myself. The Melting Pot is exactly what I wanted and what I got! I think the owners and the staff are very professional. The fondue experience was so exciting and so unique. The food was fresh and flavorful. The ability to prepare your food exactly as you want is fantastic. I highly recommend the Melting Pot for a very different dining experience. If you want to feel great about $50 a person for an exciting meal without a stuffy or obnoxious environment, this is the place. If you are looking for a cheap and uneventful meal, try the Golden Corral!

Treated like royalty.... My family and I recently ate at the newly opened Melting Pot and our experience was amazing. When we initially entered the restaurant, we were greeted by one of the owners and a hostess staff. They very promptly took us to our table. We were then welcomed by our server with in a few minutes time. As we looked through the menu we were initially overwhelmed with the choices, but our server went through them and made many great suggestions for the 5 of us to choose from. Once we ordered the presentation began and what a fabulous presentation it was! We orderded the 4 course meal, which if it is your first time there I highly recommend. The first course, which was the cheese fondue, was absolutely delicious! We then received our salads which were very fresh and crisp. The third course was the entree, we chose several different meats and fish. This was unbelievable as well. One of the great things about the entree is that they have other healthy options to cook in other than oil and the flavor is to die for! Of course the best part of the whole meal is the dessert and I would make a suggestion that you wear loose clothing because you won't be able to stop yourself from eating all this amazing food. In addition to the divine food, the owner and manager stopped at our table throughout the night to check in on us and make sure we were enjoying our evening. The Melting Pot in Savannah is one of the best restaurants that we have been to as far as customer service and food quality. I would suggest making reservations, they are booking up fast!
Our visit here in early April was a delight. The waiter explained this location is run by his close loving family, and it added a sense of comfort while dining. The experience of your meal opens space in your party to chat and create new memories! The drinks were addicting and I highly recommend coming early on a Saturday evening. We had most of the place to ourselves!
My husband and I went for his birthday. We were a bit concerned that it wouldn't be enough food, but we were wrong. We were full before we finished the entire. The food was great. Dipping food in cheese and chocolate was delicious. I think the experience was the best part. Great atmosphere and the waiter was really knowledgeable and friendly. It was a bit pricey, but worth it for a special occasion.

It was a really fun experience, everything was tasty but make sure you have time to spend. Prices are high but it's for the experience you go. The server was amazing and very helpful as this was our first time. I would recommend it especially if you have never done fondue before.
There is less foo that I expected to have each pot. Considering it as a expensive dessert will make you feel better. The atmosphere is nice and quite. It’s a good place to hand out with one or two friends if you have secrete to tell 😂
They only accept reservation!
My Oldest son took me here to celebrate my birthday!!! The service and food was spectacular! We arrived late for our reservation due to unexpected traffic, but we called ahead to notify the staff. The staff was so understanding and gave us a little more time to get there. That was super nice of them to do for us. Thank you for making my birthday celebration a wonderful one!!!
This is a perfect spot for a little getaway with your spouse or significant other. The entryway greets you with a beautifully displayed selection of wine and a warm feeling that welcomed you to a new dining experience. The host was one of the nicest I've come across, offering to take pictures of your date and you while you waited for an open table and making your short wait enjoyable. Upon seating you are met with a classy yet casual dining area. Our waiter, Jerry, took the time to explain all of our food options and really seemed genuinely to care that we had the best experience possible. Food was fresh and inviting and best of all, delicious. I'm sure should we have chosen different options to feast on, they would have been just as delicious. The Melting Pot has gone great lengths to ensure this is a restaurant you'll want to return to. 5 stars would be my rating if it was just a tad less expensive.
Great fun experience. Server was very attentive and made it super easy to learn what to do. However, in a city that is about tourist, there was a lack of workers. I think this might be because they refuse to pay them more. Savannah is an expensive city and we stood in the lobby for 10 mins before anyone came by. Most of the restaurant was empty. Leopolds is right next door with a line half way down the block, the pricing is attractive. I can only guess they cannot get enough workers.
This was our first time there. We didn't know what to expect but I can say it exceeded all of our expectations. Our waitress was phenomenal. My biggest concern was that there wouldn't be enough food to fill me up but I was mistaken. Very enjoyable evening.
An intimate, creative, and fun way to celebrate any occasion. My husband and I went to celebrate our 8th anniversary and it was an incredible time. All our drinks and food were delicious.
Dinner was outstanding!! We had the bigger Bigger for 4 even though there was just 3 dining. Not sure if I could pick a favorite. Everything was fresh and tasty. It was a great experience and will be back soon!

Very delicious! I gathered here with a group of friends before a concert. The staff was excellent and the server was pleasant and knowledgeable.
Went for my birthday dinner. Service was great. Food was mostly great. The veggies were a little lacking, it was mostly broccoli which was brown and wilted and mushrooms. Drinks were very good.
I enjoy this place. I've been to two in Florida one in Michigan and then this one. They are always very knowledgeable on their gluten and what is in everything, I HIGHLY appreciate this. Staff is always extremely friendly. My husband and I went to celebrate our 10 yr anniversary. This place is great for dressy date night or casual friend night. 👌🏾Love it. Our server Kaitlyn was so sweet and attentive. Her boss should give her a raise 😁
Come here and sit with Caleb! He was friendly, attentive and social. I had an amazing time! Food was great as always 🥰Jessie is the boss and runs a tight ship! Amazing time as always! I will always visit the Melting Pot and will be back soon!
I love this place. Me and my wife ordered the 4 course classic it was so good. Our server was amazing also but all staff at this location went out of their way to make you feel welcomed and appreciated. Amazing experience
We have been blessed to be served by Jessie every time we have been here. We are from Charleston, and make the shirt trip to Savannah specifically for dining at this The Melting Pot. The atmosphere is perfect for a romantic date. I can only rate Jessie because he is the only person we have had the honor of hosting us for our past several trips; my SO and I were engaged here, and we spend our anniversaries here. Jessie is an excellent host, funny and pleasant to be around server, great mixologist, and times servings with the greatest expertise. This will continue to be our date destination for as long as we, or this establishment, exist.
