Went for dinner as a couple and we were truly impressed by the food and service. The bone marrow app is a MUST try! There’s nothing quite like it.
The scallops with pumpkin risotto were also fantastic. The dish is expensive and quite small, but it is delicious. I’m a huge scallops fan and was shocked to find that the risotto was actually the prized ingredient here.
Brussel sprouts were good but not as amazing as other reviews made them sound.
At the time we visited, they had a happy hour sign from 4-7pm everyday with $1 oysters, so we returned the next day (Sunday) for oysters and wine - also highly recommended!
We were seeking a light dinner. Our waitress Candace was very good. The Chilled Shrimp were terrific their peach-horseradish cocktail sauce. The Apple Feta Salad was fresh with toasted pecans and mandarin oranges. A great rustic setting in the historic district.
We had a fantastic experience. We have been here many times but this topped them all! Service here is always good but our waitress was exceptional in every way. We ordered the appetizer special of smoked steak tartare with chips and it was perfect with a beautiful smoky presentation. Our drinks were fantastic (as always) and our waitress was very knowledgeable and the Japanese whiskey. I ordered the fish of the day and it was my favorite entre I've ever had there.
Repeal 33 is easily one of my favorites in downtown Savannah. Don't let the construction out front stop you from visiting; once inside you're in for a treat from beginning to end.
We ate here last year intending to try the fabulous menu but had the tasting menu. It was wonderful and our service was top notch. Last night we came back without a reservation and were still able to get a table. My out of town guest is an astute bourbon drinker.
She had the Bon Appétit cocktail with house bone marrow infused bourbon, all spice dram, and black walnut bitters. She also had the Remington. I had a mocktail Kiss From a Rose with lemon, almond, and rose water. A lovely tart combination with the rose highlight. For appetizers I had Roasted Bone Marrow topped the Chipotle Braised Beef Cheek, Cilantro, Lime, and Warm Tortillas. She had Grilled Octopus with Charred Eggplant Puree, Pine Nuts, Golden Raisins, Arugula, and Chile Crisp. The warm Sourdough Bread was so hearty, tasty and filling that I did a take home order. It was better than Publix Bakery. Entree I had Seared Jumbo Sea Scallops with Creamy Farro, Broccoli, Crispy Artichokes, Parmesan, and Sherry Reduction. She had Tuna Crudo from the Raw Bar with Smoked Tuna Tartare, Mango, Macadamia Nuts, Ponzu, and Nori Crisps. For dessert I had Passion Fruit Panna Cotta with Macadamia Nuts. We would definitely come back again.
Charlie was the most informative server ever! We had the pork chops and the chicken dish and both were fantastic. But, the greens needed more kick. That’s the only improvement. The lemon ice box dessert was delicious 😋
Get the brussel sprouts. You’ll thank me. Good wings and oysters. Great cocktails. The smashed fingerling potatoes were my favorite of the night. The gnocchi was my least fave. I wish the bone marrow was served with toasted bread instead of tortillas, but still good.
Stopped in for dinner on a work trip, service was absolutely fabulous, food was stunning and the environment was so inviting! Restaurants so rarely cook halibut correctly and the fish was perfectly seared and moist throughout, would absolutely come back!
We found this restaurant looking for a walkable place to grab dinner, and I’m so glad we did! The food was delicious, atmosphere was low key, but very nice, and the service was knowledgeable and friendly. It’s hard to choose with all the great options in the area, but this place is definitely a standout. If you’re considering it, try it, you won’t be disappointed!
We had a last minute client dinner to book on a Monday night, and it can be difficult as most restaurants are closed on Mondays. They got us in last minute and an eight top no less. They also had a 26 top to work around, so we thought service may suffer or food may come out slower, but definitely not the case. A few of us started at the bar and had some great drinks made by the bar staff. We then moved over to our table and was greeted very quickly by Charley (excuse me if misspelled), they were very professional, knew the menu, and made some great recommendations. They were very attentive and our drinks were never dry. The food came out with perfect timing, hot and very delicious. The filet was cooked to perfection and the scallops were on point. A great experience all around from the atmosphere, food, drinks, and most of all service. Thanks again for a great meal and we look forward to coming back soon.
This place is amazing. They have plenty of cold beer on tap and amazing food. Got the burger and it was cooked perfectly. I also recommend the 1$ oysters they have for happy hour.
The food was great, but it was about an hour and a fifteen get dinner on the table. We did ask for a free round of drinks for the wait, but the request was ignored. Great service, food, and drinks. The atmosphere is so great!
I’ve came here twice so far and the food here is phenomenal. I really need to try more things on the menu but I keep coming back to the NY strip because it’s so good. I wish I could eat here everyday. I wish I could give this place 500 stars because 5 just simply isn’t enough. If you are in or around Savannah, you have to check this place out.
We dined at Repeal33 on Sunday evening and had a great experience! Sara was our server and she was so great! She made great suggestions and was very attentive. My husband got the scallops, my daughter got the burger, and I went with the filet. They were all tied for being the best! So tasty. And the jalapeño passion fruit margarita was phenomenal!
My wife and I are on a mini vacation visiting Savannah. She picked out this restaurant for dinner last night and to sum it up it was awesome. We started with two different salads which were unique especially mine which was Charred Romaine. Then we had two perfectly cooked Rib Eyes that had an unbelievable taste. The BEST PART though our server Charlie who was SUPER ATTENTIVE to all our needs. Overall a super night.

Repeal 33 is a fun restaurant with a fantastic ambiance. The bar menu is phenomenal with a great list of bourbons, whiskies, and beer. The food is creative and unique. While the TARTE FLAMBÉE Tarte Flambee was neither a tart or flambeed... it was a tasty starter. It was a flatbread with bacon, onions, and cheese wit h an incredible date sauce. The wedge salad was huge and is perfect for sharing. It had a fantastic salad dressing and the toppings made a great combination. We also enjoyed the Southern Schnitzel-The gruyere mustard sauce complimented the crispy fried chicken cutlet and paired nice with the collard greens and house sauerkraut. The filet was cooked perfect and was topped with a delicious cognac foie gras emulsion. The bar and dining room presented a beautiful, rustic vibe. The combination of the drinks, food, and atmosphere makes Repeal 33 a fantastic place to eat and/or drink.
We walked in and did not have to wait at 8 pm on a Friday night. It was busy, but maybe we were lucky. Our server was Dave, and he was awesome. Very informative of the menu and letting us know what to expect from the dishes we had questions about and ultimately chose. My gf started with the brussel appetizer, and although they were very big, they were still tender and very tasteful. We also odered the mexican corn, and we thought it was delicious as well. She had the steak, which she raved about. The temperature was cooked perfectly to her liking and was still very juicy inside. And the spinach topping was amazing. I started off with some Canadian oysters on the half shell, and they were very delicious. I had the schnitzel. The chicken was fried crispy but somehow still very juicy and tender on the inside. Topped with sauerkraut over a bed of their pasta was better than I had even hoped for. The restaurant had a modern industrial feel to it. Nicely done all around. Will definitely be back.
Great place by our hotel. The whipped ricotta bread was oh so good! The oysters were delicious and the charred wings were perfectly cooked. Loved that they weren’t over breaded, had a lot of great flavors. The cocktails were great. The burger was nothing fancy, but cooked well.
The most pleasant and welcoming experience we enjoyed in all of Savannah. The server was so warm and attentive. The Brussels sprouts appetizer was delicious. Very nice atmosphere.
