If you come to Savannah for fine dining, you must come to the Grey. One thing that we noticed is that it seem to have strayed from its roots slightly as a full southern restaurant and now it’s more upscale modern American food. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. Enjoyed the pumpkin salad and the eggplant okra appetizers. I had the lamb chops which were tasty and the rest of table had the flounder. Was cooked perfectly. Had the smashed potatoes and the collards. The drinks were unique. I had a mezcal drink with carrot juice. Sounded strange but tasted great. Would definitely go back.

I Loved THE GREY. I was first impressed with the location along with the building restoration and design. You immediately feel the soul and spirit when you walk in. More important the food was great. Flavor comes first always. The menu is simple and straight to the point. I had dinner with my daughter and did my own version of a surf and turf. Oysters and Scallops as an appetizer followed by a dry aged Rib-Eye Steak. I definitely will return when I revisit Savannah.

If there is one restaurant I recommend for Brunch...no matter the state...it would be The Grey. Atmosphere is an old Greyhound station that has been revitalized as a cafe. Went for the first time on December 10th and still can't get that food out of my mind.
