Best biscuit in town! The owner was there and she was so pleasant. I was delighted to finally meet her after reading her cook books. Baked with heart, that you can certainly taste. The charm of the shop invited a gentle crowd and we easily made a new friend inside. I really felt like I was going back to a safer, simpler time at back in the day bakery.

I finally made it to this lovely shoppe with the beautiful art and delicious pastries. Thank you for sharing your talents and kindness. Has anyone else known an Antonucci, as written on the drawing from a SCAD artist? Jan A was my favorite English teacher in the 70's, at Magnolia High in Anaheim. Connections make memories sweeter. Enjoy.

Charming bakery with delicious baked goods with excellent customer service. Bought two muffins and two brownies for our five hour road trip and they were superb! Ms. Day is as sweet snd unassuming as she appears in the media. A “must do” while in Savannah!

We wanted to come for brunch but that was Sundays and that’s okay- so check for breakfast times. But It was still worth it because hubby said that it was the best chocolate chip cookie he has EVER had. I had lavender shortbread and WOW!!! Tasty!

Came by to check it out. Left with a Lemon and Lavender sugar cookie and powdered sugar star brownie. Both were delightful sweet treats but I preferred the brownie. It was large enough to divide into 4 perfect bites enjoyed over multiple days. The cookie had only a hint of Lemon and Lavender flavor but overall was a good sugar cookie.

Yummy baked goods! The people there are also very nice. I’m happy that they’re open on Friday’s now! I got a Demi Baguette and the bread is the perfect amount of softness and crunch. The bread is nice and chewy and has a tasty bread flavor. I also got the pizza and it was warm which was nice. It was pepperoni pizza on a nice thick but also super soft bread. It was soft but also perfectly crunchy at the same time. The flavors were good too, a bit of peppery spice to it and it had olive oil on it. I’ll definitely come back here next time for the sweets! :)

The only negative is that are only open Saturday and Sunday. Banana pudding is the best I've ever had. Ham and cheddar croissant, so flaky and delicious with a hint of pepper from the ham. Star brownie is beyond rich and went great with ice cream. Biscuits and jam were superb. I have 2 of their cookbooks and love everything that I make from them. Will definitely be visiting whenever I'm in town.

This place have delicious biscuits! I ordered bacon, egg and cheese and I have been thinking about it every day! I went with 3 other people and we all loved it. They ordered the BLT biscuit. The prices are high, mine was $11, but worth it. We also ordered the guava pastry and was spectacular! Coffee is great too! Definitely a must stop if you are visiting Savannah! Line was about 20-30 minutes, so go without being in a Rush.

I have heard all about this cute bakery and it did not disappoint! I knew it would be good when I saw the line inside and the tables full. My cousin and I went on a Saturday morning and it was just the best place to be. We ended up ordering a piece of "bluebarb pie" and a biscuit with strawberry jam on the side. So good, and so fresh. You could tell it was made from quality ingredients. The whole shop inside is decorated so cute as well! From vintage/farmhouse style, to southern charm, it had it all. You can even see them baking in the back if you go around the corner. Such friendly staff and overall a great place to be!

Oh my gosh!! I’ve lived in Savannah for 2 years and every time I drive past there is a line out the door. Finally we stopped and it was like heaven in my mouth!! The lavender peach bar and the sandwich of the day are amazing! The service was also really good.

Amazing, lovely and the cookies are very vintage. The taste reminds me of my childhood. The interesting item in addition to the bakery to sale. I.e. vintage black bride and groom cake toppers. As well as, the cookbook filled with recipes sold by the actual bakery herself. A MUST STOP !

Back in the Day was highly recommended by friends & we were thoroughly impressed!! There were so many delectable options, it was hard to choose. I decided on the jalapeno biscuit with egg and pimento cheese...it was absolutely delicious. We also split a blueberry and blackberry muffin, equally scrumptious!! We're visiting Savannah for the next few days and we cant wait to return.

Delightful and full of delishiousness! My most recent experience was takeout. The line looked daunting but moved rather quickly and was worth the wait. My coffee and lavender shortbread cookie put a smile on my face.

Dont even think about it just go! The croissants rival those of my favorite bakery back home. The cookies are so buttery and delicious. I havent tried the cupcake yet but im sure it will be just as amazing as the others. Wish I had discovered this sooner in my trip!!

Savannah’s hidden gem!!! Don’t let that side of town scare you. There’s a ton of bums across the street on the corner. But by far the Best biscuit egg sandwich ever. We tried the cinnamon roll was so flaky and not too sweet, the ham and cheese danish was fluffy and savory. The biscuit sandwich is out of this world and so filling. I had a hot chocolate coffee drink was cry chocolatey and great a cool Sunday morning. Go early because it’s gets busy quick.

Such a beautiful place with simply amazing food. I don't think you could order anything that would be bad here. The atmosphere is so lovely, unfortunately not too close to downtown. But the starland district is developing which is good. My favorite place for breakfast and baked goods.

They were all good, however we got them cold, if they were hot it would have been a 5 start review. I would definitely go back!
