About the Breakfast Place:
This breakfast spot turned out to be the highlight of my time in SFO. Nestled in the charming town of Sausalito, it offered the best breakfast experience I've had. Situated by the bay, the breathtaking views added an extra layer of delight. However, it's worth noting that finding parking was a bit of a challenge, with paid on-street options.
About the Food:
The quality of the food lived up to the stunning setting. The eggs with veggies and rye bread created a harmonious blend of flavors that pleased my taste buds. The French toast was equally delightful, a testament to the care taken in crafting the dishes. The egg omelette, accompanied by spicy sausages, was a masterpiece of cooking perfection.
The overall experience at this breakfast place was nothing short of outstanding. With its picturesque location and delectable dishes, a five-star rating is truly well-deserved.
Fun atmosphere! Think old-timey diner meets beachside cafe with a surprise Swedish element. The pancakes were delicious if a bit rubbery. A normal eater could get away with asking for one pancake. Also liked the Swedish meatballs.
Every time we visit San Francisco, we reserve a day to come to Sausalito and have breakfast at Lighthouse Cafè ☕️.
This time, I got the Phili cheese steak sandwich and it was really good 👍 😋. Employees are always very friendly and attentive.
Since it's a small place, there is only one restroom 🚻 so it took forever when it came to taking my toddler to use it.
I definitely recommend this place.
Love the small diner atmosphere. I ordered the veggie scramble with hash browns and rye toast and my friend ordered the Norwegian salmon eggs Benedict and it was absolutely fresh and great tasting.
Loved having brunch here! Food was tasty and the staff were quite friendly. We had a great time here.
My wife and I walked from the ferry to this cafe. It was a beautiful walk and the breakfast at the end was wonderful. I had the Bagel and Lox and my wife had the ultimate Breakfast Both were great! Go check it out if in the area but expect a wait.
Wonderful breakfasts at reasonable prices in a very friendly atmosphere with talented cooks and attentive waitresses. Would highly recommend the Benedict’s or any of the egg, waffle, or French toast dishes. Our out of town guests really enjoyed themselves and we’ll be back for sure the next time we’re in Sausalito looking for breakfast. Definitely the Ferrari of breakfast places in Sausalito.
First visit was a few years back and really enjoyed it then, so on a return trip to Sausalito couldn't miss trying again. Didn't disappoint, if you want REAL Sausalito then drop in here..
Great spot for breakfast, pancakes are enormous, food is well made and coffee is consistent. Currently $2,95 surcharge for bacon adds to an already expensive breakfast though, if you wanted bacon ... be prepared.
Hello Viewers,
I had a chance to visit lighthouse cafe after my hiking trip to muirwood park. after 7 miles hikes, we want something that's filling and satisfying. lighthouse cafe offers standard American breakfasts type - Egg Benedict style, fruit salad, pancake, toast, etc. the setting is a bit crowed like hard to sit down more like a picnic style outdoors, and indoor sitting is ever smaller that I won't recommend for the bigger group.
lighthouse cafe is located at very convenience Sausalito downtown, so it's great if you can walk around afterward. ☀️
