This was our first visit to Irish 31 restaurant and bar in Sarasota, FL near Siesta Key.
The University of Florida’s local Sarasota Gator Club chapter meets at Irish 31 for college football, so we gave it a shot!
It’s a mixed open air/inside seating concept with mostly pub top tables.
It’s a bar, so bar food is the good food.
For those looking for vegetarian, vegan, or plant based menu options, it should be easy for you to pick a couple of items and be happy.
The staff is on point. You can really feel the hustle in how they run the operation.

Fun spot. We've probably been here five or 6 times now. It's not really an Irish place per se, but more like a sports bar with an Irish theme and a few Irish dishes on the menu. Lots of TV's, etc. That being said, the food is quite good and the service is always excellent. It's a little expensive for what it is, but so is everything these days I guess. We'll definitely be back!

Juiciest black and blue burger! Nice cibatta bun.Very flavorful. Pub chips seasoned well and crispy. Wings were also very good. A few wi g sauce selections to choose from. Clean restaurant/bathrooms. Nice and friendly servers. Inside and outside seating. Both regular and high top tables. Decent selection of tap craft beers. 31+ whiskies and full bar. It was karaoke bingo night so a bit loud but fun loud. Had a great meal.

Celebrated my Aunts birthday here. The boxtys were delicious and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Our server/bartender was very personable and took very good care of us. I would definitely go back even though it’s 45 mins away from me!

Shepherd's pie boxty was delicious, fish and chips were amazing. Service was acceptable. Homemade hot bread pudding was ok. Tasted microwaved as the bread was very spongy, it wasn't terrible. I just wouldn't order it again.

Really good food, our waitress was very attentive and nice. A lovely outside area under shade to bring your furbabies. They even have an item on the menu for the doggos. Definitely will be back !

A lovely Friday night dinner with the added bonus of live music. Our first visit but definitely not our last. A pretty big menu for an Irish place with happy hours from 3-7! Good service and great food!
