Do-licious Treats

At first I wasn’t going to rate this location seeing it’s still fairly new and I’ve only gone once, but seeing I don’t think that I’ll be returning again I’m going to rate my experience. Last week I went with my partner and we got one scoop of Mint Cookie Dough with a scoop of Chocolate Ice Cream on top to share. For just that one it was a little more than $7 and I’m 50/50 on how I feel. They didn’t have the prices for the ice cream displayed, so just so you know it counted as a 2-scoop. Originally I wanted Vanilla Ice Cream, but they were fully out so instead of taking a refund I decided to go with the only other option which was Chocolate. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good? I personally felt like the cookie dough was too warm, maybe it’s because the AC wasn’t working but we ended up sitting outside because it was way too hot inside. Ice Cream definitely does help, but after this experience I realized I don’t really like cookie dough as much as I thought I did seeing we ended up just throwing it away because neither of us were able to finish it. The whole 30 minutes we had been sitting down, no other customers came in or even checked the place out so it was very slow and service was quick. Personally, it was hard to get past the texture and how warm the dough was so that’s why overall I won’t be returning seeing it wasn’t for me and actually made my stomach hurt. I feel the cookie dough should be at a certain slightly cooled temperature because it would be more enjoyable in my opinion and if not I feel bacteria might start to grow on it? Like how other foods have to be at a certain temperature, you’d think cookie dough would be the same... I’m not sure, obviously I don’t work here but I had some concerns and deciding to share my opinion. Also, the placement of this store is in a non-busy plaza kind of hidden. That might be contributing to no customers stopping in. As of right now I don’t plan to go back, but maybe after this place has been around for a few months I’ll check it out again and update my review if my opinion changes.

Great place to go to. Whether it's just to run and grab something sweet or part of a date night, as was for me. Many choices that are all "dolicious". It's sad how many times I've driven by here and never known it was here. My fiancé loved and so did it. One scoop really turned out to he a scoop-and-a-half and the price was just right. So definitely will be back as long as this place is open.
