Pizza was amazing! It was piping hot, tons of pepperoni, and made perfectly. Was even HALF OFF YAY COS BOLTS WON! Would have given 5 stars to this particular restaurant on 17th St, had it not been for the sailor mouth who spoke the "F" word every other word, which some customers prefer not to hear. However, one gentleman in particular, also last name Miller, who was apologetic for other employee, was extremely polite, very prompt, greeted me immediately at the register with a smile, even commented on same last name, and also my Good Mythical Morning hoodie :)) That's what customer service is all about!!! :)) Appreciate customer service that is above and beyond!!! Suggest giving this man a raise, and promotion to instruct others on exceptional customer service skills!! Thank you Mr Miller for making my pizza transaction OUTSTANDING!

Love the pizza here and the staff are awesome. Told me in future to call them directly for the specials vs the phone operator that was not very helpful. The works pizza is awesome and I highly recommend it. Thanks again guys for the great service all these years I have been coming to Sarasota.

Customer service on the phone was absolutely amazing! Faith took my order and I was spending $24 on a large, she up sold me on 2 specialties pies for $30. She's definitely got management written all over her if she isn't a manager already! I was surprisingly impressed!

I will start out by saying I had huge problems with my pizza this particular night. Since this Papa John’s on 17th wasn’t the problem but the Solution I won’t go into complete detail here. But you can see the whole story on my worst ever experience from any restaurant in my whole 58 years of living. That location was Papa John’s on Clark rd. After going through what I would call the worst experience at a restaurant in my whole life I got tired of the abuse from one of the managers Luis. While standing in the location of Clark rd Papa John’s I called 17th and explained what was going on they immediately offered to make my philly cheese steak pizza at the half off as per the big megatron at the Tampa Bay Lighting Games. The pizza was ready when I arrived. The staff was friendly and repeatedly told me how sorry they were that the Papa John’s on Clark had treated me. I wasn’t trying to get something that wasn’t being offered. We all know that Papa John’s has strict policies on their franchises. This would not be acceptable behavior. The 17th location stepped in to make sure we had a pizza to take home after going through the abuse That I endured on Clark. Going to 17th was a long drive compared the the Clark location from My house but we’ll worth the drive. I’ve read the reviews for this location as well. My thoughts on that is, this location stepped up!!!! I’m sure sometimes you might not get the best pizza ever. But remember it’s only as good as the person who made the product. Proper training goes along ways. Pizza places tend to have high school aged employees for most of the work. If they are trained by a great manager they will become great!!! I’m sure this location would bend over backwards to fix whatever problem you might have with their products. So if you have blasted them on here and not fully given the chance to rectify whatever problem you might of had , we’ll then your just basically a Karen and a Ken. For their outstanding customer service I would give a 100 stars if I could. I want to personally Thank the staff and you know who you are for the absolutely great job saving the Reputation of Papa John’s.

This has been my GO TO Papa John's for 2 yrs 😊😊 As a late evening service worker I came home felt bad and ordered less than 45 minutes before closing 🤦 I did tip well and apologized 🤷 My delivery driver was AMAZING 😁 SOOOOO very kind happy and perfectly conversational 😁😁 I'm not going to butcher the spelling of his name but I did call the store and spoke to a manager about this wonderful human and my experience😁😊😁😊 So thank you again amazing delivery driver and thank you Papa John's for another great experience 😊😁

The staff here is great. My pizzas are always done right and piping hot. I order online and pick up. I've never had a good experience with any place for delivery so I avoid it.
