Wow - amazing food and so many options! I can’t wait to go back and try more. We got the portobello volcano and the jackfruit bowl. The portobello was good and had a cool appearance but the jackfruit was really amazing. The flavor and the combination of everything in the bowl was great. My mom got a shrimp Thai peanut wrap which was enormous and came with a side. Her boyfriend got a salmon burger which was great as well and came with really big, thick and delicious fries. The portions were really good for the prices! We saw the house salad come out which was enormous and only about $13. The side of zucchini tomato basil soup was also amazing. Flavor was so good! I will definitely be back to try more of the options. Dessert sounded great also but we did try since we were so full - next time!

So good! We came in for dinner on a Sat night, and got takeout. Small interior with just a few small tables, and only inside seating. I eat a whole food plant based diet, sugar and oil free. The person who took my order was super helpful, pointing me toward dishes that oil could be left out of (incredible!) Got the Portobello Volcano, which was a yummy and hearty dish, with the chili as the side. After a long run day, it was plenty to fill me up (which many vegan places fall short on.) We ordered the cake to share for dessert, and it was incredibly tiny and not what I would consider “cake.” Much more like a bar. Made with maple syrup (yay!) It was delicious, just not what I had been expecting.

Veg phenomenally showcases how plant based versions of classic favorites doesn't mean taste, texture, satiety, or enjoyment need to be sacrificed. The jackfruit brisket bowl I ordered was quite pleasing to the palate, and the eye. It is evident that presentation here is important, as several other pretty looking dishes caught my eye while they were being served. The crunchy coleslaw added the perfect texture contrast to the soft sweet potatoes and rice. Serving size was generous and enough for me to get 3 meals out of it. This place does serve some seafood, so your non-vegetarian and vegan friends will have some additional options too. I'll be returning for sure!

OUTSTANDING FOOD! My wife and I are here visiting from Austin Texas - and we fell in love with this place. We ordered the lentil soup, Cauliflower Kung Pao (was a little salty for our taste) and a fish sandwich. They also had a great selection of beers (but none on draft). The owner was there and she was super nice well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

When I decided to go here, I was looking forward to the impossible nachos stack but I also ordered the jackfruit brisket based on reviews on Google. I was surprised to find that I LOVED the brisket! We're not usually huge jackfruit fans but they made it taste so good! It's really good when you get a bite with brisket, sweet potato, rice, and the Cole slaw altogether. 😋 My husband loves the brisket too. The impossible nachos were also good but they were just outshone by the brisket. Oh and I forgot, I got the fries because I read reviews that they have the best fries and I was skeptical but they really are the best fries! They taste just like the fries from Larosas in Cincinnati which happen to be my favorite fries so I loved these fries too. We also got the raw mango lime cheesecake and my husband really liked that but I did not because I do not like coconut at all and it really tastes like coconut. I would 10/10 go here again if I'm ever in town again!

I ordered the Jackfruit brisket bowl. It was really good. Our server was super helpful and really explained the menu. We did eat inside. We were the only ones there for a while, but after a bit it got a little crowded since the restaurant is small. I started to feel less than socially distanced for COVID, but everyone wore masks while they waited. Regardless, I really loved the food and there are so many vegan options I can't wait to try. I will definitely eat there again, but perhaps to go...

This is a very unassuming place, looks a little bit more like a café but I was surprised at the quality and the presentation of the food. Looking for dairy free and gluten-free food this good? A real challenge No, not cheap. But I’ve been to a lot of restaurants in Sarasota that also we’re not cheap And the food was disappointing. Not here. (GF)Grilled Mahi-Mahi Tacos-22.99 Three corn tortillas filled with Gulf caught Mahi Mahi, cabbage, pineapple & salsa fresca (GF)Sesame Plum Salmon-23.99 wild Salmon glazed with a sweet & savory Japanese Sesame Plum Sauce. The fourth had a vegan burger. It was a lot of food, but it was on bread? As you can see in the photo. I thought it was funny but she thought it was fabulous She half home We had a gluten-free and dairy free dessert that was insane. It had chewey chocolate brownie that was a really nice texture (I thought) covered with coconut-based vanilla ice cream? And chocolate syrup. Yes I know it sounds ordinary. IT WAS NOT!! I shared it with my friend But when my other two friends saw our eyeballs rolling, they wanted a bite. I didn’t want anyone else to take any. When I said do you want a bite? I didn’t really mean it ha ha Ha

Oh my! The Wild Maine Scallops were incredible! And it’s wonderful to go to a restaurant where my wife (gluten-free vegan) and I (no carbs no sugar) can have SO many amazing options. The staff was great, too. Highly recommend!
