What a wonderful little bakery right in the heart of downtown Sarasota! I had never heard of a Chimney Cake until I tried one here. Searching Google for bakeries near me with my boyfriend one Saturday afternoon, this lovely little shop popped up.

They need to figure out how to get rid of the dirty mop water smell that is a punch in the face every time someone walks in the door. Or get more outside tables.

Simply delicious! Service was great too. I ended up making my own sandwich because the only vegetarian option didn't appeal to me. The woman behind the counter told me the owner is Hungarian and so is the shop. I joked that I totally Americanized my sandwich, opting for all basic veggies and cheese.

My family was downtown Sarasota and looking for a quick bite to eat. We popped into Kurtos and were blown away. The owners were friendly, greeted us instantly, and gave us the rundown of what they have to offer as a Hungarian bakery. All 3 of us got sandwiches and we all agreed they were hands down
