I absolutely enjoyed every moment at the UPTOWN EATERY. The BEST CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP IN THE WORLD, PERFECT AND DELICIOUS AND LOTS OF FOOD IN IT! I came back for BREAKFAST the next morning and got a FANTASTIC CHEESY OMELET, served with 2 thick high grade DELICIOUS STRIPS OF BACON, AND THE FRESHEST FRUIT MIX AND FANTASTIC WHEAT TOAST I HAVE EVER HAD. I also must mention the Chefs, the waitress and all the people that work there made me feel at home, even though I'm from another state. IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE MORE THAN 5 OUT OF 5 STARS I WOULD, THE ATMOSPHERE, THE PEOPLE, THE FOOD, THE MENU, THE SERVICE WITH A GENIUNE APPRECIATIVE SMILE, EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!!! One of the best breakfast meals I've ever had. I got the breakfast sandwich with the hashbrown casserole and everything was cooked to absolute perfection. The proportions were also spot on unlike so many breakfast joints that pride themselves on giving you a huge meal that can't be finished. The prices are super affordable, I got the breakfast sandwich and OJ for less than $12, just amazing. I simply couldn't recommend this place enough!

My boyfriend and I decided to try this delightful place out about 6 months ago and since then we go at least once a week. The food and service never fail to astonish us. Our meals are absolutely amazing and the staff create a very warm and inviting environment. We absolutely love this wonderful local gem and will continue to visit often. Would reccomend to anyone seeking a wonderful local breakfast and lunch spot.

Had Uptown caterers plan our 50th Anniversary! It was a great success! Everyone WoWed the food, and the service! We all enjoyed the celebration! It went so well, that we’re having them do my wife’s 75th Birthday! So happy my son used Uptown for his business parties! Love that this is family owned, and they put there hearts into what they do! Everything was perfect!!!

This little mom and pop place is magnificent. I always try to support locally owned business and this place hits the mark on customer service, food diversity and flavor that rivals most restuerant chains. I highly suggest you get the grilled shrimp platter. It literally attacks your tongue with all sorts of flavor profiles that it's hard to resist ordering it again.
