Mexico Lindo St. Armands

This place is a little gem. Very nice super clean restaurant with authentic Mexican food. Excellent service. Impressive decor. Each stool back is custom made with embroidery on leather and the backs are each hand painted on whiskey barrels!!! Whhhaaaaat? So cool! Aztec tiles along the bar and tequila bottle lights above the two 4top bar tables. Neat place. The only thing missing was music. The waitress told us it was broken. Other than that, it was awesome. We will definitely be back.

We had been contemplating visiting Mexico Lindo restaurant but had some hesitation due to the low review scores.We were puzzled as to why low stars because the restaurant decor is beautiful inside & outside, the prices are very reasonable for St. Armands Circle location. We gave them a try and are SO HAPPY. Food and drinks were delicious and our server Estefania was welcoming, courteous and attentive. She explained the menu nicely and made great recommendations. Thank you for the great food and attention to detail.

Excellent food! I am not too keen on Mexican food, but this restaurant turned that around. Loved the Chicken Chimichanga. The ambiance paires the wonderful food and it's Flavor. The service was friendly, but most of all, very professional and I credit that to Janette. Keep up the good work. This restaurant is on my top 10 favorites..... See you next year in June 2020.

This is as Mexican as be had outside of Mexico itself. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. The original Mexican ambience, decor and settings blended well to create a lovely evening enjoying the food and the company. Sarasota has a gem on the St Armand’s Circle with The Mexican Lido Restaurant.

We had a great dinner tonight! Adriana was our server and she was extremely social and prompt. We started out with 2 strawberry margaritas, which became 4. We had the table side guacamole, which was very yummy. My wife and I split the Mar y Tiera fajitas, and it was tasty and plentiful. The lobster was very sweet and fresh. We have walked past this place a month ago during the “snowbird season” and it was packed. The food being served was very colorful and the patrons were enjoying the meals. We’ll be back real soon!

We had the most wonderful time at Mexico Lindo on St. Armand’s tonight. Fabulous Mexican decor (esp. the handmade chairs), great service, lively music, ice cold draft beers, and delicious Quesadillas and enchiladas. The menu offers many more adventurous food and drinks. Our new favorite place to eat on the Circle!

Had dinner here with my family and it was DELICIOUS. They had a solid vegetarian menu, which is unusual for the area. Everything was great, the rice, the beans, the tortillas, the salsa. I had spinach and mushroom enchiladas and loved it, my family said margaritas were excellent too. Definitely would recommend Mexico Lindo Restaurant!

My family and I ate here tonight as a backup plan because the place we were trying to go was fully booked and I’m so happy it was! The food is delicious here. The diabolo shrimp dish is the best shrimp dish I’ve had in a long time and the mahi mahi tacos were great. The Cadillac Margaritas are great too. 10/10 would recommend. I know another Mexican restaurant was located in the same place and it was only okay but this place is great. Definitely come!
