Outback Steakhouse

We live in Nokomis, and usually go to the Outback in S Venice or Sarasota. Last few visits was not so Good. We were up in the area by this location The food was sooo much better, and all of our steaks were cooked perfectly. When the waitress came to us, we gave her our full order, drinks, onion, and dinners. drinks came quickly, then in about 10 minutes, the salads came, hadn't even started on them, and onion was brought out, had to ask for bread. That was the Only issue, items we not staggered out as should've been. We will return, but we will let the server not to bring everything at the same time.

I loved the foods. Everything seems to be priced well. Surprisingly not expensive. The food was tasty. If you like mac n cheese, try their Steakhouse Mac & Cheese. It's like gourmet. Covered in breadcrumbs, a white cheddar cheese, fancy ish. It's also seasoned a little more so it has spice. If you like sweet drinks, try their Blueberry Lavendar Lemonade. Very tangy, sweet. I had it without Alcohol but I'm sure it tastes just as good with it. Service was great, as when we came restaurant was somewhat emptier. Less people, more service. We had a very great waitress who attended to us fast. The atmosphere is good, though the booth area feels dead. I feel when there's less people It's much emptier and good for quiet people. Overall a great experience.

I'm a fairly regular to order from Outback and usually I'm really happy. This time my steak was cooked well done when I ordered it MR. I live 3 miles away so I called and spoke with the manger and he was very apologetic and said he would re-make my food. When I got it the second time it was perfect. I feel like everyone makes mistakes but they chose to handle it with professionalism and to treat me as a valued customer which I really appreciated and I will be back.

Deleted my old 4 star review and in 2023 and decided to update and upped it to 5 star . Covid hit everybody hard . Went in and tried their new meatloaf item on the lunch menu . Excellent and that baked potato topped it off . Lots of people have good steaks so I think it is a good baked potato that can make a difference . As for dinner , I go every payday and have always had an excellent meal. Lockwood Ridge Outback rocks which is why it is crowded at Dinner all the time . Outback is a place you leave full not hungry . I am going to avoid the recommend on the menu because I recommend everything !

Had a very enjoyable dinner at Outback (University Pkwy). We were seated quickly and our waitress was excellent! Faith was very sweet & attentive to our table. The 'shrooms' appetizer was very tasty. And our prime rib dinner was very filling & prepared to perfection! Will definitely return for another enjoyable meal at Outback Steakhouse in University Pkwy.

We went for their lunch specials which were very good. Our server was very pleasant and attentive though she had at least 4 other tables with 4 or more customers. My sister's chicken and broccoli came out before our soups. A gentleman from the kitchen brought it out and apologized then got the rest of our order, apparently someone on the schedule did not show up. It was very well priced and flavorful so we will probably stop in there again.
