We arrived into town well after our typical dinner time and luckily for us, we chose the Cask & Ale as our dinner and drink destination. Unquestionably, the "chicken tenders" ranked up there as the best chicken tenders ever! Literally, hand-crafted, not too greasy, large chucks of quality tender chicken. I could also tell The 1548 Salad was put together with care as the kale, spring mix, onions, tomatoes, and the rest of the ingredients were well proportioned. The atmosphere was perfect after a day of rain with the front doors wide open overlooking the tree lit street. Kudos to Cask & Ale! Well done! Thanks for making our later than usual dinner so enjoyable.

I’ve been here 3 times. Twice pregnant with friends that are drinking and once now not pregnant. It’s been great everytime. Ambiance is cool, came in contact with 3 people that work there today and they all were super nice even though we each only got 1 delicious cocktail. Will def be back

We came here with friends at their recommendation and were very glad we did. The drinks were excellent but the food was amazing! We tried the ceviche, brisket tacos, philly cheese eggrolls, onion rings and all were great but their smash burgers were incredible! We came back 2 days later for more. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We love this place!

Cask and Ale has one of the very best bourbon selections in all of Sarasota. The mixologists are up and coming and make very good drinks. The smash burgers are phenomenal.

Stephen makes the best drinks!! He made us a classic ** cocktail that we truly believe it's his own drink. Nobody can tell us any differently lol. All the vibes here on a 4th of july, let freedom ring 🙌

I strolled into Cask and Ale looking for something yummy for lunch. I sat at the bar and went with the bartenders recommendation of fish tacos. It was a great choice. Food arrived quickly, the team was very attentive, and the drinks were outstanding.

Went here for brunch on Saturday and it exceeded my expectations. I had the Chef’s Special, which was seafood Benedict, potatoes and fruit. The Espresso Martini didn’t disappoint either. Thank you Owen and Sarah for the amazing hospitality!
