Italian Tradition Restaurant & Martini Bar

An absolute gem of a restaurant. I have now been there 5 or 6 times, and every time it has been great. Friendly staff, the chef is very talented and extremely nice person. The goat cheese and meatballs are fantastic apps. The mushroom ravioli is now my favorite dish in Sarasota. I’m a cheesecake feen and the blueberry cheesecake is incredible.

We came here for dinner and absolutely loved it. The cocktails and food were all delicious. The scallops with truffles and chicken cordon bleu were perfectly cooked and an excellent blend of flavors. The charcuterie board had very generous portions and a great variety. The staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. We'll definitely be back again.

This is my new favorite spot in Sarasota! Chef Spenser has created an amazing and creative menu. The Caesar salad is a must. The scallops entree and duck entree are excellent. He does exquisite desserts as welll - the last one being a delicious pumpkin spiced cheesecake. Anthony, with his European background, is very good at pairing wines and has created a wonderful wine list. Excellent service with a classy but relaxed atmosphere completes the experience.

One of my favorite restaurants in the area! The most delicious unique dishes. I would list some of my favorites from my trips to this restaurant, but honestly everything on the menu is to die for (definitely, don’t skip the cheesecake). You just have to try it for yourself! The staff are equally as amazing and attentive. 10/10 experience all around.

I finally got the chance to check out 481 Gourmet....this place is ON POINT! There was plenty of parking right in front of the restaurant which is key for me in Sarasota! The restaurant is beautiful inside, feels upscale without being outrageously priced. BUT THE FOOD....I had the mushroom soup appetizer and the duck entree. The soup was incredible and the duck melted in my mouth! My two kids both had the macaroni and cheese, they loved it! They were perfectly portioned and made from scratch! This is, BY FAR, top 3 BEST restaurants in Sarasota! p.s. Don't leave without trying the Oreo Bread Pudding! It's what dreams are made of!!!

I had the best time having dinner with my coworkers. From the wine selection until the dessert part. The place has a such good vibe and ambient, it's definitely delightful. The goat cheese appetizer is simply delicious (and I'm not a goat cheese fan). I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu.

What a wonderful dining experience it was to have dinner at 481 Gourmet! We were very pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and the very attentive staff. We were greeted upon entering by the manager and the owner was also there. We learned that it is under new ownership. 481 Gourmet does not disappoint. We will certainly come back! The menu choices are great. We were told that they will also add some seasonal menu items. Eleanor was our waitress and she was the best. We also had Veronica attend to us. Very professional staff and very yummy food. Highly recommend trying to the bread pudding for dessert! It is big enough to share and heavenly! They also have a large private dining room where there was a birthday celebration being held that night we were there. 481 Gourmet gets a 5 star from us!!
