Piada Mania - Italian Flatbread Eatery

Okay I loved this place the second I walked in. I am a huge flatbread fan and this place delivered. We were there with a party of six, including two children and they could not have been nicer. The variety of sandwiches and pizzas is daunting so be prepared to make some tough decisions. We tried two different pizzas, two sandwiches and the gnocchi pesto, all delicious, all with fresh ingredients. The place is immaculate and you can see the kitchen right behind the counter. There are also a couple of tables outside. They have an espresso machine and the coffee is first rate. They have gelato but we were too full to try it, but I can assure you that I will be back.

Excellent authentic Italian piadas. We r gluten free and it is so nice to find a place that cooks their own food from scratch with quality ingredients every morning fresh. Even gluten free. She cooks just like I do. I don’t have to worry about hidden ingredients here. So friendly. It feels like family there

Finally someone who spreads piadina in the world! I was born in Emilia Romagna and I miss this food, here is the place If you want to try the authentic Italian cuisine. The Classic Romagnola was delicious, and the crescione Cervia unbelievable! We could have eat everything from the menu! The owner is lovely and the place is very nice, thank you!

The food at Piada Mania is wonderful. It was a great throwback to the food I ate in Bologna. The picante piadapizza was covered in tasty prosciutto and mozzarella and the heath gelato was rich and creamy. The proprietors were very friendly and happy to chat with us about the food they offered and their home in Italy. I can't wait to go back!

The owners and staff are very friendly, the place is very clean, rustic and nice with a great atmosphere, an authentic Italian piadineria and the food is incredible! This is what I would call real and authentic Italian food, everything is homemade and fresh. Absolutly a small gem in Sarasota. If you are a local or a tourist and you are in the mood for authentic Italian food, Piada Mania is the place to go! We will be back soon!

This is a great little place. The owners are super nice, and the food is excellent. The chef is from Italy. Her family operates a similar place in northern Italy. The fare here is a little different than the typical US-style pizza. It is served on a thin, crispy crust that is not heavy or greasy. The sandwiches are made with the same thin crust, folded and (optionally) grilled. My wife and I ordered one sandwich and one flatbread, and we honestly could have gotten by with one or the other - but we took the leftovers home. We'll definitely be back soon.

Great family owned cafe. Super friendly and the owner is from Italy. The flatbread is very different from anything out there. It's extremely light and tasty and doesn't leave a heavy feeling. They have the best, made from scratch, tiramisu I've ever had. All their ingredients are non-GMO, hormone and antibiotic free. Doesn't get better than this!
