This restaurant was suggested to us by a Colombian acquaintance and we are so glad we listened to his recommendation! The service was amazing. The menu options were extensive. The food was exceptionally delicious. This was some of the best Churrasco steak I’ve ever had and I can’t wait to go back! Mi Sitio is now one of my favorite restaurants in the area.
Hidden gem for out of towner's, solid and consistent Colombian food staple for locals. Prices are affordable, while the food is always fresh and delicious. Excellent service and coffee as well. Clean bathrooms. Strip mall style parking arrangements.

I always love to eat in a good Latin American restaurant. We’ll, this Colombian restaurant was delicious. I had the whole fried tilapia with rice and tostones. My husband had the Bandeja Paisa and my sister in law had the tongue in creole sauce. Everyone said their food was delicious. Juices, maracuya flan and service were not that good.

Second time ordering from this place and I actually went in to pick up this time. Service was excellent! Food is amazing and very authentic. We love the seafood rice..reminds us of the closest thing to authentic paella. Bravo!!

Stopped in randomly wanting to try something new while in the area for lunch. I was very happy to see a small family owned business be so busy! The service was good staff is bilingual and masks were worn. We ordered the churrasco steak that came with 3 sides, and the fried fish. The food, presentation, and taste was so good. Definitely a must try when in Sarasota!
Delicious homemade food ! Pan de bono is so delicious. Cheese, guava, dulce de leche or Nutella ! They make them all fresh.

Busy, high-energy restaurant with tasty food. I hadn't tried Mi Sitio before, and I just happened to be passing by and hungry, so I decided to give it a shot. I got the arepa with shredded beef, and it was delicious. The meat was tender and well-seasoned. It was served with a trio of tasty sauces. I really liked the cilantro sauce and the garlicky sauce. Prices were reasonable, and the staff seemed friendly. I will definitely be back!
Updated to add: I recently came back here with my daughter, and we both enjoyed it very much. The prices have gone up significantly since my last visit (as they have everywhere). Our server was very nice, and the service was good. It looks like they have renovated since I was last there. It was very clean and fresh-looking. The music was not too loud (loud restaurants are a big pet peeve of mine), and it was a comfortable, enjoyable atmosphere to eat in. The food was very tasty and flavorful.
Excellent food, very affordable, very fast service! Many options! Breakfast, lunch or dinner, or just a quick bite. Very friendly staff!
