Evie's Tavern & Grill On Bee Ridge

It was super loud inside, but there was a U of K college game on. My granddaughter has never seen a football game and absolutely LOVED every time they did the fight songs or cheered, she would cheer with them. Food was awesome, as always. We drove from Pinellas county just for the Buffalo dip and it was absolutely worth it!!!

Much better experience than last time when the server failed to put our order in, and we waited about an hour for food. That time, the burger came out undercooked, and sweet potato fries were served first and cold. The manager put the order in again so burger and fries were served simultaneously. But, the manager covered for the server. She did comp the meal. Still would rather have proper service than free food. This time was normal, but we played it safe with pizza (very good). Really enjoy the outdoor dining and my grandson had fun playing with other kids after the meal.

Checked online before going there the menu said they offered gluten-free pizza and when I went to order my gluten-free pizza they said it was no longer on the menu. I asked for a salad without carrots and asked if they could replace the carrots with cheese and I was told no. There was five of us there and not one of us was a hundred percent pleased with our meal. We have been going to Evie's for over ten years and was very disappointed

I really like this place a lot because not only is Evie's a large sports bar and grill, it also has an ice cream stand, a golf driving range, and a miniature golf course. The people at Evie's are professional and courteous. Their Mai Tai drinks are surprisingly mellow in balance yet it does pack a punch to the unaware. The beer selection is very good overall covering many segments and flavors of beer. I cannot say anything about the food since I did not order anything. What I have seen looked well prepared and delicious. For me, this place is a bit of a drive and that is really a very minor complaint on my part. I will return there to try their food when my next chance happens. Definitely give Evie's Tavern & Grill on Bee Ridge a visit, you may enjoy it there.
