Before we went to the Sarasota airport for our flight back to Atlanta, I asked google to find a close restaurant that serves brunch. Google said we should go to the Reserve Retreat restaurant and motel. What a fabulous place. The hostess and server Tatiana (Tati), was great. The menu was amazing. The bottomless Bloody Mary’s were perfect and the brunch was super. We will definitely come back to The Reserve Retreat again.

Needed a place to stay last minute after we decided to stay the day in Sarasota. I found The Reserve Retreat online at a much more reasonable rate than any hotel. At checkin, we were taken to our room which hs kep pad access. We reserved a king room, it was very spacious and had a small full kitchen, and a bottle of wine. It's located close to townand has its own coffee shop, with complimentary coffee to guest. They also have a dinning room which looked very nice but we didn't get to try. Over all it was an adorable place, very clean, and the staff were all very kind. I would recommend this spot over a hotel.

I took my daughter and her friends to the Reserve Retreat for dinner and we had a fantastic time. We were seated in our own little room off from the main dining area and it was perfectly quaint with a jazz band playing outside the window (they are there the first Friday of each month I believe). The bruschetta was delicious as were all of our dinners - shrimp and pasta, Ringling salad, and even the burger with the beautifully whipped mashed potatoes. The cheesecake and coffees were a perfect way to end the evening. I definitely will be back to the reserve retreat and recommend this for a very gourmet low key dinner. I hope to stay at the inn another time.

We had breakfast outside on the patio. OMG, let's start off with the coffee! Strong, fresh, not bitter, because it's REAL COFFEE called Java Dog! To say I would have been happy for the rest of my day after two cups of coffee, would have been fine with me, but then my Western omelet and my husband's breakfast tacos are placed on the table. How on earth do they make breakfast taste so good! We will be coming back!

I have pasted the place several times while being in the area at my kids school. Every time I pass it I say “this place looks cool”. Finally had the chance to stay and it did not disappoint. Prices are very reasonable and I’d much rather stay here than a big chain. I love the feel of the place and the owners are wonderful. I will definitely be staying again! Thank you!

I stopped here for coffee on my way to work. I almost don’t want to leave a review because I want to keep this coffee spot my little secret but it was too good not to leave a review. The barista suggested an iced peanut butter chocolate latte and my husband got an iced salted caramel latte. Both were amazingly fantastic and the service was above and beyond.

Where do I begin? What a wonderful gem this place was! We stayed there the weekend before the Fourth of July. The staff was so friendly and courteous, the room was a great size and very clean, but most of all….the food! The restaurant on site was phenomenal! The grouper sandwich and the crab bisque were standouts. Great price and portion. The coffee shop also served guests complimentary hot coffee, iced coffee, and loose leaf tea. The history of the hotel was fascinating and the complimentary bottle of wine in our room was an unexpected delight. We stayed in the Reserve Retreat room which included a full refrigerator and freezer, stove with oven, sink, microwave, dishes, pots, large bathroom with shower, and dinette table. Oh, and there was live jazz music on their patio on one night that was wonderful! We will absolutely be back!

Our group of 20 from Country Village, Bradenton plan and go to a luncheon each summer month. My choice for our June lunch was the Reserve after seeing their website and menu. We opted to go at 10:30 so we could choose from both the breakfast and lunch menu. What an absolute delight, from the moment we all walked in and were greeted by Sarah ( one of the owners) !!! Drinks were ordered and menus passed around while Sarah told us the history of the building and its surroundings, which were, to say the least, very nostalgic and interesting. When our food arrived I was so pleased at the presentation of each dish. Great care was taken to make each meal unique and beautiful. We all had a wonderful time and are already planning another visit. ( maybe on jazz night !) Thank you, staff.

I took a chance and scored big. What a wonderful place. Awesome room, comfortable bed and more. The ambiance is very welcoming and chic. I stayed above the restaurant and what a cool building it was. There was wine for sale, charming seating areas for dinner both inside and out. The owners were there and amazing. Nice young lady making coffee onsite. And get this, a stage outside for weekly open mic events. Can't wait to go back. 1 short block from the water. Worth every penny. OH... and I had a quite enjoyable bottle of wine waiting on my room. Who does that? So awesome... GO NOW!
