Cannon's Steakhouse And Tavern

Could be the best bang for the buck steakhouse in all of Southwest Florida. My pals and I had the pleasure of dining at Cannons during our annual golf outing and it was spectacular. Our waitress Carol answered all of our questions and was super smooth. The appetizers, main dishes and desserts were top drawer - Everything was cooked to perfection. Our meal would have cost five times as much at a big named steakhouse. Highly, highly recommended.

Should have wrote the review a long time ago. Wife & I had dinner here in January 2016 when it was the Rowdy Reptile. We came right away when they opened and had the place to ourselves and sat next to the piano bar. Shared their giant ribeye steak, great seasoned potatoes, mushrooms. Service was great. The only disappointment was their giant pretzel appetizer. The mustards were great... but we both felt that the pretzel didn't have much flavor. With so little patronage, we wondered if they'd survive... and they appear to have made it... albeit under a new name. Hope the same people are with the place as when we were there.

Wow! What a great place. The food was great and the staff actually knows how to wait tables. They are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the menu. The Huge Burger was actually huge, moist and tasty. I asked for medium rare and that is exactly how it arrived. How refreshing! The tomahawk steak was a delicious 20 oz. It had the perfect char and was done perfectly. We can't wait to go back!
