My family and I planned a dinner at Amore for my dad’s 95th birthday! It happened last night… It was our first visit, and everyone was truly impressed. Our group selected from both Italian and Portuguese menus, and we were all extremely pleased with our appetizers and entrées. As for dessert, most of us ordered the famous pastéis de nata and no one was disappointed. They were truly delicious and authentic. I plan on going back and ordering some pasteis with the intent that I will keep them in my freezer and take them out as needed! I had no idea this was possible, right here in Sarasota. Service was superbe, Thomas was our waiter and he could not have been more gracious and accommodating! There were 12 of us, 4 generations and he took care of everyone. My dad had the opportunity to speak Portuguese with owners Tito and Liliana. Thank you for taking care of us.

A delightful gem in a tired strip mall. At first glance you consider reconsidering… then you walk into a blast from the past! A fabulous family establishment that offers complete excellence. The flavors, the quality , the friendliness is over the top. Service 5 stars, food 5 stars, ambiance 5 stars, service 5 stars, price 5 stars. Enjoy your new favorite dining experience!

Amazing food with great live music. The music cycled through loud and fun performances and quieter calmer songs. It was a great balance for us who wanted to listen to music but still be able to talk. There is seating further away from the music if you don’t want it to be too loud either. Seemed really authentic as well.
